If I could give this no stars I would i recently bought this because I wanted the ear option I’ve never had a thermometer so inconsistent and different results every time. My daughter was burning up and it tells me she’s 97.1 check her ear 98.2 check for head again 96.3 when you can clearly feel she has a fever so I check with our old thermometer and her temp is 101.5 I will be sending this back. I need a thermometer that’s actually going to work when my children are sick

I am pretty happy about this thermometer overall. I believe that it works well after trying it on many people. My son had a fever and it definitely picked that up right away. There is only one button on the thermometer which seems weird at first. However, it seems to be all the is necessary. One quick hold on the forehead and it reads right away. It is a little quirky in that you have to turn it off to retake the temp if you need to do it a second time, but it isn't that big of a deal once you get the hang of it. Much better than holding something in my baby's ear for several seconds.

I thought with all the positive reviews, and high ratings, it would be alot better than it was. First, it feels really cheap. It doesn't feel like it will last long. Second, the readings were way off. I measured the temperature on my forehead four different times, and each time it was a significantly different reading. I don't feel safe using this on my baby. I am returning.

I really recommend this thermometer because it can measure a temp quickly like nothing happened..so easy to use, and you can see the reading in dark..it also has fever indicator with a red light and can be turned off the buzzer which is very helpful, Well, my husband and I are expecting our second baby soon, so we bought this thermometer as it's important to pay attention to the newborn baby's temperature.

After reading the other reviews here, I’m curious if I got a knock off? Mine doesn’t have the brand name printed on it.It is super easy to use, very fast, but unfortunately...completely inaccurate. I’ve verified this comparing it to the readout of our doctors temporal thermometer. This one is at least 4 degrees cooler than it should be. My “normal” temperature reading on this is around 96. A thermometer is pretty much useless if it’s not accurate, so I’ll be tossing this in the trash.

I purchased this thermometer for my adult son to monitor his temperature after chemo. It hasn't worked properly since day one. Oral thermometer = 98.6; this one read 97.1! No calibration instructions available.*** EDIT*** after I left my less than glowing review on this product, the seller contacted me and offered a full refund. Silly me, I never thought to contact the seller when I was displeased with the product. They asked that I amend my review and so I have. Product rating is still one star; Customer Service is 5 stars.

I LOVE THIS! Taking your temperature on your own (or other’s foreheads) is now the way to go! So very accurate! The ER does this now. It also can be used as an ear thermometer, but doesn’t come with the sterile and disposable “covers” for the tip. You will want to get those if using the unit in the ear. Readily available and not expensive using easy ordering via Amazon or at your local Walgreens and Kroger stores.

We got this to make it easier to take my Mom’s temp a few times s day while going thru chemo. So far it works wonderfully easy. It is also very compact and comes with a nice cloth case for storage.
