Being in the casino business, specifically in table games you have to be aware of your surroundings. That's including making sure your cards are not bent, your dice are not switched and your spins on the roulette wheel are random. This is also true with your casino equipment. About 98% of our equipment comes from a company called GPI. All the way down to our chips & felt. They're quality is second to none. That's why they DON'T sell to the home market. So when I wanted to get a discard rack I was afraid to get some crappy chinese made POS. Well rest assure this discard rack not only changed my mind but made me a believer that there are other companies besides GPI that make top notch equipment. How you ask? Well first of all on our acrylic discard trays in the casino have smooth rounded edges just like this one I got. With the Chinese ones it's sharp on those edges. Also the most notable difference is the way the cards sit in the tray. Up to 8 decks and they sit exactly even from top to bottom. Meaning the 90 degree angle in the rack is perfectly adjacent to the angle of the cards. Yup I'm pretty anal about this stuff! So to answer your question if this is a good quality discard shoe I'll say it's not from GPI but if you didn't tell me that it wasn't? Then I could have not tell the difference between the two!

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. A little pricey in my opinion, but it’s a must have.

Very sturdy. They make a great black card holder for Cards Against Humanity (and I have a lot of them). They're solid and no sharp edges. They will also hold other card game cards well too. Perfect for card players everywhere.

This is better than I tought it would be. The discard tray is built very solid, and with the two screw holes at the bottom, you can easily anchor it on your table. Very sturdy. Glad I bought it.
