SMARTLINER Custom Fit Floor Mats 2 Row Liner Set Black Compatible with 2018-2022 Hyundai Kona (No Electric Models)

The mats are a perfect fit for my 2019 Kona, and I like that both front seat mats have holes for anchor hooks. The only problem I have with these is that the rubber isslippery. For example, we have a name-brand competitor's mats on another car, and their rubber has more grab for better foot positioning. On the other hand, my shoes and feet slide on Smartliner's rubber. Because of Smartliner's slipperiness, the driver side mat creates a foot fatigue problem--basically you can't anchor your heel to the floor because your foot will slide. I did a roundtrip 4 hour drive recently in dress shoes, and it was a major annoyance and concern, because I kept having to reposition my heel for proper foot braking and acceleration. I also had problems with using my feet to push against the mat to change my seating position (I had to use my hands to push off the armrest instead). These mats are potentially a big safety hazard if someone does not have grippy shoes, and is unaware of this. It hasn't rained yet so I haven't had a chance to test how they are in wet weather, but anyone giving these a first time test drive should wear shoes with a good grip (such as athletic shoes). I highly recommend the manufacturer look into changing the rubber used for these mats. If that isn't possible, they should change the vertical channels to horizontal channels so there is something the heel can rest against.

Good fit, easy to install, not sure what else to say. They arrived folded, which I was worried about, but laying them on the couch overnight, they're fine now. They're to protect the floor on a leased car, so they do what they're supposed to.

I got these mats for my Mom for her birthday and she LOVES them! They are very nice mats and the fit is perfect. They are easy for her to get in and out to spray off as well. She hasn't had them long enough to really comment on durability, but they look like they are very durable and should hold up for a good while.

I love these mats. I have a 2021 Hyundai Kona and these fit perfectly. Cheaper than Weather tech and these are very easy to clean and seem durable
