Excellent product for indigestion and ibs

I have coeliac disease and IBS so I often struggle with passing gas. Just one tablet will relieve trapped gas. It’s great! However, after taking 1 every day for a week, I developed constipation and hard black stool that was difficult to pass. It scared me at first, but then I realised that the charcoal darkened my stool. I might stop taking these. I don’t know why the instructions say you can take 3 tablets at 3 times a day! That seems a lot and I developed constipation after only having 1 a day!Also, no matter if you chew or swallow these, you’ll need to rinse off the black coating left on your teeth.

Was given these before by a pharmacist whilst abroad to sort out a bad dose of food poisoning. They worked a treat, always had some handy ever since. Easy to swallow leaves no bad taste.

These are nothing short of amazing. I have a stomach muscle separation following 3 children which has given me considerable digestive issues and one of which is pungent flatulence as my muscles fail to hold everything in. Not the most attractive and definitely the most embarrassing. I cannot routinely eat meals which have potatoes or rice and if I have eaten a few different snacks such as crisps or biscuits then I will suffer from wind all evening. It's almost a standing joke in our home when a smell hits as to whose the culprit! ....Following a search for a cure after a particularly embarrassing evening... I decided to purchase these tabs and following other users advice have used 2 before and 2 after a meal which I know will give me bad wind such as a roast or fish and chips and I've been amazed that the wind has all but disappeared!!! I don't use these everyday so I can see the difference when the wind starts after meals where I haven't taken the tablets. As other users commented, they are best to swallow with water as if your hands are wet you can see the colour coming off on them and I have found 2 before and 2 after a heavy meal is adequate. I would find it inconvenient to have to have one in between a meal but so far I haven't needed to. As mentioned before they can make your stool a darker colour and as I don't take them everyday mine is darker but not black which I would find a little alarming! Will definitely purchase again as they have given me the confidence to be able to eat foods I enjoy inside and outside the home.
