It worked perfectly.
Did not fit correctly. The LB and RB buttons get stuck. They don't click. I tried everything. seems to be slightly larger than originals. Once everything is assembled they worked perfectly!!!

Replacement button.
Very nice kit was well made and worked great once I got it installed. I was happy to find a kit like this saves spending the money to buy a new control.

Adequate replacement with a tricky instllation. READ IF YOUR BUTTONS DONT FIT/CLICK CORRECTLY
The kit comes with the parts/screwdrivers you need to complete the install successfully, though the plastic pry tool included doesn't work very well and damages too easily. To get the controller apart and installation done correctly, you will need a Youtube video. This should help tremendously, especially disassembly. I installed the buttons and at first, they did not work. They tended to stick or not work at all and were not "clicky" like the originals. Here's two things I did to fix that.First when you install the new shoulder piece, it mounts to the front plastic piece that covers the Xbox button. Be sure that it is mounted VERY snugly to this piece. When you have reassembled the controller except for the faceplate, place your thumb between the two palm grips with your thumb covering the data (?) port that is there and then place your pointer and index or middle and ring fingers on the top of the controller over the Xbox button and gripping that plastic piece between the shoulder buttons. Sort of like forming a claw over the controller. Now gently squeeze the top and bottom of the controller together, like you are trying to squeeze that top Xbox button plastic cover button downwards. I found this compression to help sort of "force" the controller a bit tighter together and really squeeze that shoulder button mounting point inside together. Try this, applying a little squeezing force across that Xbox button area downwards to see if that improves the button mobility. If it's helping hopefully at least one of the buttons will improve and you'll know it's working. I had to do a few squeezes of some moderate force to really get the parts in there snug.My second piece of advice comes from the reassembly. Do not tighten down the 5 screws holding the faceplate to the controller too much. Especially the one inside the battery area! I was tightening this down too much and it was causing some kind pressure on one of the shoulder buttons, causing it not to work reliably. I would advise you to ease back each of the screws to a "just screwed in" level of force and see if it helps you. Perhaps try each on at a time or all of them. With these two adjustments I was able to get the buttons to work perfectly. It just required a little care and precision in reconstruction. I hope these two suggestions help anyone attempting this repair out.Good Luck!

I'm glad I bought the 2 pack
All in all, this does what it's intended to do and easy to install. I'm glad I bought the 2 pack because my son broke one within a month! The second one has been holding up pretty well for a few months now. Happy I purchased overall value is great and my 5 year old is happy.

Decent replacement with some caveats. IF BUTTONS DON'T WORK RIGHT FOR YOU READ THIS!
I purchased this replacement kit for a controller of my brother's that he broke the bumper button on and was going to throw away, so $9 in all for a working XBox One 1697 controller for me ain't too shabby. One issue I experienced that I saw mentioned in other reviews was a complaint that it didn't fit right/the buttons weren't working. I found that if you bend the buttons DOWN slightly where the little plastic connector piece meets the body of each button the sticking issues I experienced were completely solved, so if you have this issue you might try CAREFULLY bending them down at that joint slightly. I was lucky and didn't break it, it seemed to bend alright without loss of tensile strength but do be advised this is a rigid plastic piece and it could very easily snap if you try this so you have been warned, use caution and only bend it down slightly if you attempt this remedy. The second thing I will mention is Amazon's HORRIBLE packaging and flatly UNACCEPTABLE condition of the first set I received. The plastic baggy it came in looked like it had been chewed by a dog and all the parts were SHATTERED. What is more it's shipped in a padded envelope which is a crap shoot as to whether it will arrive with the pieces in tact. I had to contact Amazon for a replacement which they dispatched immediately but still, for what I pay for Prime to get 2 day shipping and for this to end up taking 5 days to receive is pretty infuriating. What is more they assured me that the replacement would be shipped in a box and it was NOT. It came in a padded envelope. Thankfully the parts were in tact.So due to the fact that I was originally sent an item in massively damaged packaging with all pieces broken, that Amazon ships these delicate items in padded envelopes which greatly increases the probability that the item will break in transit, and due to the fact that the angle of the buttons as attached to the connector is slightly off/tilted too far up necessitating one to risk damaging the piece by bending the buttons down slightly to get them to function properly I've given this 3 stars. I cannot speak to the longevity of the piece, I may amend my rating to a lower one if this piece breaks after some period of extended use but after a few hours of light testing it seems so far solid. It's being used in an adult only household and I am careful not to drop my controllers so I do not foresee it getting rough/rigorous use. Keep that in mind if you have kids using your controller or if you're generally rough with your controllers. Your mileage may vary.

It sort of fit
I got everything in the picture. However, the plastic is too thick and does not fit without modification. Even after you get the controller back together the buttons are very stiff. Two stars as it really doesn't fit well.

Good replacements
They fit perfectly in the controllers, you just need to make sure that they are for the right controllers. The older Xbox controllers with the headphone jack. The first version of the Xbox one controllers have completely different parts underneath.
