Great anchor. Easily holds my 14 food aluminum jonboat in place on the local reservoir. Bottom varies from rocks to mud, and has held tight with 10-15 MPH wind gusts. I use this in the back and a small mushroom anchor in the front only to stop the boat from changing directions with the wind.

I had a little trouble attaching the anchor chain to this anchor. The eye is too narrow for a standard galvanized shackle to clear.

Vinal Coated Anchor
The swivel makes it easy to fit in a tighter storage area on a boat. If you have a ski and fish boat or a fishing boat about 16.5 ft I would recommend the next size up

Missing parts.
I just purchased this anchor. It came without the ball/rod. Has anyone else had this issue?! The picture shows the anchor part + the ball/rod, so that is what I expected to get. Now I have to deal with returning/shipping back a heavy anchor.

worked great until i cut it with my motor.
I added a piece of chain and it worked great. Today I forgot to pick up the thing and cut it with my motor.

Seems well made
The anchor seems well coated in vinyl and is sufficiently heavy. I was surprised that the stem in not fixed permanently on the base to the stem can slide out but, generally, that won't happen. I haven't put it into action yet but I'm hoping for the best!!
