Started well and I really like the rod and tenkara philosophy. Inevitably, I broke the tip section on the first day. Now find I can't get a replacement as maxcatch are not stocking them. Seems like I wasted my money.Since then , Maxcatch have supplied a tip and I love this Rod. Very well made with a strong stylist tube. I think this is the best rod available in the UK.

Only minimal experience this year, but I proved to myself that the method is not difficult and indeed is quite an elegant way to present a lure. I look forward to carrying the kit with me in the car at all times!!

I found the rod hard to use initially. Once I understood the correct method I started to catch smallish brown trout. I enjoyed five or six trips where I had great fun.Unfortunately on my last outing I broke one of the top sections while putting it down to go home. It was incredibly easy to break. I would buy the rod on it's own again in the future and use the old one as a spare in case of further breakages

Great product, especially for the price. Its robust for a tenkara rod and possibly a little bit longer than expected in the collapsed travel situation. Certainly will not let you down.

Just started tenkara fishing so I looked at reviews on this and impressed I have 2 maxcatch rods and I love them and this didn't disappoint

Re-ordered this version because of previous problem - Horror - received the Tenkara Combo 8/9/10ft version. It’s missing the Rod tip and Lillian from the Rod, therefore totally unusable as not able to attach the fly line.Extremely disappointed and have inconvenience of returning it yet again. What is going on with Maxcatch ????Really poor and I haven’t even used it yet.

The media could not be loaded.  Caught plenty of chub & roach alreadyYet to catch a brown trout but plan on soon, caught a 14 inch chub with no issue but no photo as it got away prematurely

Ich habe die 12' FT bestellt und bin positiv überrascht. Diese Rute hat eine Aktion von 7:3 und wiegt 103gDie Verarbeitung ist toll und der Kork schaut super aus, ist AA+ Qualität. Werde den Kork mit Vaseline einreiben und mit einem Haarföhn erwärmen, damit sich die Poren mit Vaseline füllen und nicht später mit Schmutz und co. Kleiner Tipp von einem Hobby Rutenbauer 😉Die Lieferung war (über) pünktlich satte 5 Tage früher 😀Bin sehr zufrieden und werde wohl noch mal bestellen
