Very introductory level and short arrangements
Got this book thinking it would have some extended improv written out, but nope, the arrangements are all pretty basic level jazz. Most of the arrangements feature good left hand chord voicing and a simple but effective right hand melody and embellishments. This is a learning book for budding jazz pianists, not a transcription so don’t be like me and buy it hoping for something more complex.

Elegant jazz arrangements
I'm an intermediate level pianist trying to improve my skill set. I got my Berklee jazz standards songbook a few days ago. I'm thrilled with the classy arrangements as well as the discussion of key points that precedes each song. The audio library at Hal Leonard is fairly easy to find and is great. I'm inclined to skip around in the book, but I know if I learn each one well, and understand what they are doing, I'll have greatly expanded my knowledge of voicings, rhythms, and possibilities when I play. I recommend you have a jazz techniques/theory book to refer to. Berklee probably has one, but I'm not familiar with theirs. My only issue is that the print is a tad light, but I still give the book a 5.

Academic Sounding
Well, I acknowledge that this book is from an academic institution, but jazz is meant to be a living, breathing thing. These arrangements are ok to get hints about typical voicings and the arrangements are competent, but there is little feel, sparkle or even swing in the way they are arranged or played on the accompanying audio (downloadable with a code). I concede that these standards are presented in a way to let you inject your own variations and that's fair enough, but the presentation is rather dry.

Audio device not supported on computer app, scores unreadable, won't open in Kindle Cloud
These arrangements may be OK but the Kindle edition is a rip-off. Completely unusable. The audio won't play on Kindle for Mac app. The images of the musical scores get compressed down to illegibility. I tried accessing it in the Kindle Cloud Player, and it won't even open. Buyer, stay away from Kindle version.
