Works great - so nice to be able to move the hoist back and forth as well as up/down with a press of a button. Careful with the installation - its HEAVY and will need a second person to help. The instructions was just a couple diagrams and can be somewhat confusing if you don't take a moment to orient yourself with the appropriate drawling and figure out how it all comes together.

The unit is heavy. You will need help lifting it to the beam. The drive wheels need just over 4 inches of height inside the beam to work. Build a small cable festoon system to guide the power cable. Programming the remote is annoying. I would suggest reading then rewriting the instructions in your own words.

I was going to spend hours or even days trying to make a trolley, winch and a wireless remote from different manufacturers work together. I spent a lot of time on youtube trying to figure out how. I found the full package with prowinch 2 on amazon and it worked straight out of the box without any programming. You do have to make adjustments on the trolley by moving spacers around but it was pretty easy. It has a lot of safety features which I like. Highly recommend.

Would be helpful if it came with assembly and operation instructions And not damaged. Looks like I got someone else’s angry return as box and contents were torn up.

Not a great or well built winch. Ours broke down quite quickly.
