SAS Advanced survival Kit
I think it should be perfect for my emergency survival pack. As the name suggests do not intend to use it. The contents list on the kits packet are short of a few items listed in the review. I am guessing they just listed some of the contents....I hope. Arrived in a short time and happy with the kit. I do have to agree with some other reviews at the high cost you would expect more, however, it was all ready made and packed and I saved time sourcing and testing the contents 8/10 from me and if it actually saves my life I may change the score.....

Gold-plated Chocolate Fire Guard
I can't disagree more with the previous review. Yes there are some useful items in here but the price is extortionate. It might be based on what Special Forces use but gucci kit is no substitute for skills and adaptation. Anyone who is likely to need a survival kit would or should know to tailor it to their needs, strengths and the environment they will expect to be in - hooklines are of limited use in the desert. Equally water purification tablets are not necessary if you are in the Scottish Highlands. All of the items in the kit can be purchased separately and more cheaply; and the tin is just a sweety tin. My advice, if you think you might need one of these then research what you need and make sure you can use it (and to do that you are going to need more than the contents provided) - if you can't light a fire from a striker with tinder and kindling, this kit is not going to turn you into Lofty Wiseman or Ray Mears. Take the time to work out what you need, practice the skills (preferably with someone who knows what they are doing) and tailor the kit to your strengths/weaknesses. Alternatively, spend the outrageous price for this tat and pray you don't need it.
