These batteries work great and hold the charge for a reasonable long time.

It’s hard to find real Makita batteries at a decent price so these were exactly what I was looking for. I can run a drill and impact driver all day off of these. The charge indicator on the back let’s me know how much power I have left and if it’s time to change or charge the battery.

Good battery with plenty of life for any DIY job.

Stores 90W of power. Good purchase if you use the tools all day.

I need a couple extra batteries for my Makita cordless tools and these work great too. They are 5 amps so much better than the older 3 amp batteries I had. Last a lot longer too. You can't go wrong with anything made by Makita.

There are many Chinese copy batteries out there. They say they are 5.0 Ah, but they are not. They are much lower capacity. You can tell immediately by weighing them. These Makita 5 Ah batteries weight 22.4 ounces (1lb 6.4 oz). This is the same weight as the original Makita batteries that I got with the Makita saw. The price was pretty good for a Lithium Ion battery too.Previously I bought a set of batteries on ebay. They claimed they were Makita 5 Ah batteries but they only weighed 13 ounces. That means the cells inside were of much lower capacity. And the actual brand name was Vanon. not Makita (even though the picture showed the Makita name) That is why they have the cheap price tag. It is fraud, and it is all over the internet. When you see the ultra cheap price you know something is wrong and it is. You will get a battery that just doesn't power the tool very well. It's a waste of time and money.
