I recently moved to a location with amazing year-round weather and was looking for an activity the whole family can enjoy at the beach. I heard about Frescobol through friends and, after playing a few times, I decided to join the pack.Frescobol is gaining popularity in the US and is already super popular in Brazil and other countries.The Vero Frescobol set I purchased arrived in record time and are exactly as the seller described.The rackets have amazing craftmanship and they feel solid. The birch wood is beautiful.The included balls are well-made and have great bounce. The seller included one bonus ball.I tested them yesterday at our pickleball courts and they passed the test! Heading to the beach next this weekend.The Neoprene wrapped handles provide great grip and feel great. The included bag keeps everything together and makes it easy to carry on our weekly beach trips.The Vero Frescobol set is superior in quality and craftmanship to most of what my friends have. I know what they will be getting this Christmas from me.This set is well worth the money with its craftmanship and lifetime warranty. Skip the cheap department store alternatives and buy these. These are my beach rackets. Great quality. I sometimes play them with a tennis ball. I take them everywhere beach, park, day trips and they give me a good work out. It takes time to get used to play them properly ( they are not supposed to be held like tennis rackets nor is the ball supposed to hit the ground while playing). I watched some you tube videos of beach racket on the sand. They are very popular in Brazil, Israel and Greece. Not so much in Sydney, Australia where I live, so people stop and ask me about them when they see me play.

I thought they were bigger

There are 2 things about this that irritated me. First off I noticed that one of the inside layers of wood on the paddle must of been chipped, and they tried to fix it with wood putty. I was willing to get over this but the second issue made it to much. The second issue is not even 5 minutes after playing with my daughter the ball split down the middle.

Nice wood, feels good in hand. Narrower than expected, actually they look awkwardly small but in practice they work just fine. Comes with two balls (one bouncier than the other).In the pictures I posted:1. It came with a defective bag. (they sent me a new one for free).2. You can compare the size difference with a regular cheap racket.3. The small balls came with the cheap racket, the orange is the original one and the blue one is a regular racketball ball.I hope they read this and send me a new bag. (They did). 5 stars.

There is absolutely nothing about this product that justifies the price. The advert makes it sound like it's some next level product. It's really just cheap compressed wood and materials.That rubber around the handle? It looks like some bicycle tire rubber that someone wrapped around the handle while in their apartment - not in an actual production process.Now once they wrap that rubber around the handle they have to tie it or attach it somehow so it doesn't unravel, right? Well, they used electrical wire tape. I am not even kidding you. They bought what is clearly some electrical tape at the hardware store and just wrapped a little bit of tape at the top to hold the rubber grip around the handle? There is no way in hell that tape is going to hold for very long, very amateurish.This product is probably worth $15-$18 and I'm going to try and return it. Joke!

Superb racquets! These frescobol racquets are exceptionally crafted (made in FL USA!) and durable. Take it from a brazilian who knows its best beach sports! We used them at the beach during our vacation and had a blast! We liked so much that we now use them to play at home too. The rubber ball is also made with quality (not the cheap stuff) and bounces (for control) really well. The handle grip is very comfortable and feels solid. When I contacted the seller for more information on which paddle to buy the reply was prompt and honest.Definitely recommend this product! Five stars!

Very godo racquets!!

It looks and feels nice. However, it is not solid wood but medium density fibrewood which is engineered. Therefore a completely overpriced and misrepresented racket. Buy it if you have money to burn!
