OrbitH2O-6 Gear Drivev Sprinkler with Wheels 58572…

This new sprinkler by Orbit is GREAT!!!Extremely versatile in spray shapes, distance control, easy rotation setting. I'm trashing my old Rainbird sprinkler heads that get stuck in one positions or barely move or springs break and replacing them on tripods with this Orbit head.

The top and patterns is a reason to use this sprinkler. The base is cheap underweight trash. The O Ring between the base and the sprinkler head is too small and deforms before it makes a good seal. The Sprinkler pivoting Hose attachment connector leaks between it and the base. The whole sprinkler is so lightweight if you use a contractor grade hose the sprinkler just falls on its side if there is any twisting of the stiff hose. This one does not maintain Orbit! If you can find fittings to replace the top to your own more solid base it’s top is a good gear driven sprinkler. Update: Aug 1st The sprinkler lasted 3 months and the flimsy connection between sprinkler base and hose connector fell apart and and will no longer seat to the sprinkler base so you can’t connect a hose to it. Orbit should be ashamed to have taken this junk to production.

I usually have to water my lawn in the late summer months, this sprinkler is perfect for that. My lawn can get hard and spike style sprinklers are tough to push into the ground or break when trying. I love the orbit sprinkler coverage and various streams you can choose from. This sprinkler can do so many size and shape of lawns it’s perfect! I would recommend to anyone. All my neighbors have these now.

I bought this after my metal one died. Hoping it would provide ease of use which it does unlike the metal one is complicated to set up and get the right direction. This one covers more area and does reach over 20 feet easily. The only issue I have is positioning it as it is too light for it to sit firmly on the group. I do worry about it being made of plastic and it not staying put in place. It requires constant moving or placing an anchor on it for it to not move. If this were made of a metal base, it would greatly help

Bought one at Lowes..when I got it home it became evident it had been damaged (maybe a returned item?.).the plastic housing was cracked, so returned it and ordered a new one from Amazon. The new one leaked like a sieve. Turns out the design of the hose connector is a FAIL; there is no way for a hose washer to seat properly on the thin lip of base. Recommend against buying this.

I have 4 and in less than 2 months the plastic has cracked and is spraying out water at the connection in 2 of them.

The media could not be loaded.  This sprinkler really does water well, but there are two things that kept me from giving it 4 stars. The first thing, is that the primary hose inlet fairly easily snaps off if moved the wrong way, but it also easily snaps back on; this may actually be a good break away feature of the design, that prevents the sprinkler from actually breaking, and two, a number of the sprinkler settings seem to all be about the same. Aside from that, the sprinkler rotates while watering and also has some really cool adjustment features. I recommend it!
