They had to have been made perfect by Nature
Timken bearings are of the highest quality. If you can afford it, buy a Timken! You aren't going to find higher quality than that. Even oam isn't as high of quality as Timken. The secret is where the balls are mined. It's an expensive process where helicopters take people up in some very high-tech futuristic suits that are able to withstand being submerged in lava! Because you have to dig inside of the lava pool and active volcanoes about 12 to 18 inches down where the balls are made. These balls have been under immense pressure and heat for eons. When they get pushed up to the surface, that's when you're able to extract them. The bowls are some of the hardest materials known to man, they are stronger than Diamond by five factors. So they cannot be machine, they cannot be polished, they must be measured and be exact. They had to have been made perfect by Nature. That's why I only .01% of all balls extracted from magma pools even make the cut! But the races are not made that way. Nature makes spheres, but mankind had to come up with bearing races. So the races are made with regular old crap Steel. Now don't get me wrong, we temper them to the best of our ability, and especially the quality that comes from Timken because they are the highest quality bearing manufacturer in the world. But I'm saying that the technology is in those ball bearings. They call them lava balls. But this is Insider information. It sounds crazy because they never explain to you how they make these things. They pretend that we manufacture them ourselves when really they are mined.

Lasted 500 miles.
After being installed by a professional and certified mechanic, it only lasted 500 miles before becoming defective and shaking the car violently. I had to pull over to the side of the highway, paid to get towed, and be told I needed new wheel bearings. Beware, Amazon will not provide warranty for towing or labor costs and will not provide manufacturer warranty information.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'
Way better than the OEM from Toyota. The Sienna XLE van that these went on, improved the performance and quality of ride beyond what I can believe. Toyota parts department at the dealership wanted almost $75 for OEM. These Timken bearings reduced friction noise and tire handling while on crosscountry trip.I am proud to say that this Texas home town company that has designed and delivered a quality product at a reasonable price.

Quality Bearing at an affordable price.
This is the bearing to buy. It installed easily. Very quiet, and runs smooth. I will replace the rest of the bearings with these Timken bearings.

Quality is bad.
The media could not be loaded. Upon receiving and inspection: stiffness while turning by hand, grease oozed out at middle band like liquid, not a permanent grease. Not take chance to install the bearing. Returned immediately. A waste of time.

First and 2nd look. It is marked Koyo on the bearing. 2nd bearing not same manufacturer.
Koyo and Timken may be connected. Koyo is a good name. They should just call it koyo. But what concerns me is it has a part number that doesn't match the timken part number on the box.Timken is 510006Stamped on the bearing is DAC43282W-3I will update you when i get more info. But if tou strictly want timken. I would try another source.UpdateThe 2nd bearing came. Not the same manufacturer. No markkngs at all. The race is easily separated. It is in the same box the first came in. While the 1st one may be explained why koyo instead of Timken. The 2nd one has no explanation.Update:The last pic is of the old bearing i pulled out. You will notice It was a Koyo. Toyota uses Koyo. I returned the "noname" fake bearing. I ordered a 3rd. It came and was a Koyo just like the first. So they are pressed in amd on the car. Running smooth and quiet. Notice on timken box. It says they sell other manufacturers parts. So as long as you get a Koyo bearing. I would be happy. Especially at that price. Just know they are not reliable enough for time definite te and accurate parts. Must leave time for wrong parts and late arrivals. Or go to rockauto.
