Great case, very spacious and super easy to maneuver around...
I just got back from a trip where I flew with my golf clubs using this case. I can say I am extremely pleased. Not only was I able to fit my golf bag and clubs in this case, but also my golf shoes and an additional pair of sneakers. And even with all of that equipment in the case, it still came in under 50 lbs (which is the limit for checked baggage) (it came in at 47 lbs). The case is hard, so it provides ample protection for your clubs, etc.But the best part.... the ease of moving the case. There are 2 wheels you can roll on if you tilt the case and pull it behind you, but the real magic is in the 4 wheels on the bottom which allow you to easily roll the case in an upright position by pushing it (with not much force either). I was easily able to maneuver this case while pulling a rolling suitcase and wearing a backpack. The only downside I can find with this case is the size when transporting in a vehicle. If you have a large vehicle then this will not be an issue for you. However, if you have a smaller car I can see running out of space especially if you have more than one person with luggage.Overall, I am extremely pleased with this case. I now have no hesitation to take my golf clubs with me when I travel by airplane. As long as you plan ahead to make sure your transportation to and from the airport has plenty of space, this case is wonderful. I certainly would recommend it if you are looking for something to transport golf clubs via air travel.

Would buy again
I received this travel case a day early, fit and finish is excellent (as I would expect from a reputable company like Samsonite). After some initial concern about this case being able to hold my full bag with clubs, not having to take out the driver etc. I was pleasantly surprised at the spacious interior. My full bag with my cleats, 24 balls, tees, irons, FW woods, Driver etc. fit with plenty of room to spare. As a matter of fact, I believe that you would still have room to add an additional two full cases of balls (24) as well as clothing etc. This main issue will become staying under weight for airline check in.The hard sides are light weight yet seem very durable with minimal deflection when you put your weight against it, the lack of latches is a non issue because I believe the flexibility the zipper provides will allow the case to flex and move when tossed in a luggage compartment and avoid breaking. The zipper is heavy duty and I don't for see any problems with that. The wheels do stick out and cannot be removed, so that may be a weak point in the future, however, initially they seem to be very sturdy. My initial review is that this case is well worth the money to protect your considerable investment in golf equipment and travel worry free.I haven't traveled with the case yet so I will update this review next week after my first full trip with it.

Survived an airport tarmac!
I highly recommend this case. I had tried a soft case that required heavy packing and that required me to carry it around. I got this hard case because it had spinner wheels like my suitcase, and felt safer than the soft option. On our first trip with it, I pick it up from the oversized luggage area after landing.... and the handle is ripped off, and the top of the case is worn down. It had fallen off the luggage trailer and was dragged the whole way to baggage claim. I was disappointed with the airline for damaging my brand new case, but the interior remained brand new! The golf clubs and everything else inside were perfect. This was exactly why I bought this. The airline took care of me and paid me for the replacement. I immediately re-ordered the same case here and knew I had to leave my five-star review. One note for any buyer - yes it has spinners. But this is a five foot tall case sitting on a base thatโs maybe 10โx18โ. If you hit a crack, a bump, or any other obstacle, this will tip over if youโre not careful. Unavoidable. But, like any spinner, it also pulls behind you on 2 wheels very smoothly.Seriously, buy this case. I did - twice. And would do it again if the airlines mess it up!

Too fragile for airlines
I was initially drawn to this case with the promise of hard-case protection for my clubs married with convenience of the spinner wheels for easier transport. My disappointment stems from an extreme lack of durability. I went through (2) of these before I gave up and purchased a different product. Each case was taken on a separate trip (read 1 trip) via airline, 4 air legs per trip, and neither one of the cases made it home without significant damage. On the first case, one of the spinner wheels and its respective casing broke and shoved up inside of the case itself, rendering the wheel useless. I returned the case and chalked it up to extremely poor handling by baggage services. On the second case, the rivets attaching the top handle into the case pulled completely out, rendering the top handle (and most important handle) useless. Pictures are attached of each failure. My golf bag contained in the case weighed 32lbs, so it wasn't like I was overloading the case with too much weight. Here's the thing - I completely understand that the baggage services guys throw these bags around. In fact, I would expect them to treat golf bags in particular with an extra level of contempt due to their overall weight and "awkward-ness" as compared to other pieces of luggage. That's the entire reason most people, including myself, invest the extra $$ in a hard case - to compensate for the abuse. I would expect a product that is marketed to be more durable than a soft case to be exactly that - more durable than a soft case. This case, unfortunately, is not. Since I am now past my return window on the second case, I will try to fight with Samsonite to get it taken care of.
