Arrived unsealed. leaking on everything, entirely melted in a PETE#1 plastic container. It needs to be sealed for safely, not good. Not good it leaked on everything. Not good that it is in a poisonous plastic container that got hot enough to melt the entire thing. The cocunut oil would be fine melted, besides the leaking, except it's the plastic you have to worry about when it comes to heat and food. If you're female with the hairs of men on your chin, this plastic is why. It destroys your hormone balance, thyroid issues, and other things too. If it were sealed, I'd still be afraid of the plastic after being hot enough to melt every single drop of the coconut oil. I've never seen an unrefined organic coconut oil all the way melted through before and this is still melted on through to the next day. I'm "weirded out." And it didn't help that I was hassled on the chat for 2.5 hours dealing with the refund/replacement. I guess this is why it was at a good price. :-( I see it's no longer available, and I guess that's good since quality control doesn't have control over the quality - others are complaining about the same issues, I see. Meh. I'm tired of being on amazon... Thanks for listening :-P~

the picture shows virgin coconut oil but i got refined.
i paid for virgin oil just like the one shown in the picture and i got refined coconut oil. now i have to go through a big hassle to return this to an amazon facility to get my money back. thanks for wasting my time and energy with your false advertisment

I think this is an amazing value for your money, but mine came with the whole top half really hard and a different color than the bottom portion. Like it was sitting for a long time in a warehouse. I also am not fully sure if the inside seal was broken at one small part. The outside seal was perfectly fine. But when I went to lift off that top seal it came off really easily like it had already been lifted up. But I'm not fully sure. I haven't gotten sick yet cooking with it.I also cook with this and use it on my head once a week as a hair mask. I have really bad dry scalp and can't use anything but free and clear products so this helps as a natural remedy to soothe the dryness.

Great product
This is the best stuff I have ever found for the skin on my legs. I have a problem with the skin on my legs due to a heart condition, and this has helped more than any other product I have tried, including all the expensive meds the doctors have given me. Silly really.Flavor is not rated because I do not eat it. I wish it had a bit of a coconut smell however.

Leaking badly
For every of the 4 times ive bought this the lids were mostly unscrewed and the seals were partialy broken. Every time, enough oil spilled out to seep through and leave a huge oil stain on the outside of the box. This last time it was really bad. They had to clean up after it at the post office. I dont know if air pressure change on the long flight over here caused it to pop open, but all you have to do is use a decent seal and/or make sure the lids are screwed on tight. This is the 4th time ive left a review about it. I was thrilled about the oregon tilth certification but i just cant order it again after this last time. Watch out y'all.

Great-tasting coconut oil
This was my first time to order Purely Amazing Organics coconut oil, as another label which I normally purchase was a good bit more expensive (it seems the price of the other label fluctuates wildly). I was very pleased with this product.
