For under $1500, this is phenomenal. While you can’t customize each RGB key, that’s a small detractor; having three zones allows for a multitude of customization. If you’re a serious gamer, do you really need each key to be a specific color? Maybe I’m just not a really serious gamer, but I can’t imagine a hardcore gamer actually looking at the keyboard for inputs; I imagine that’s all muscle memory without having to look at the keyboard. The specs are phenomenal for this price range. The software that allows you to control fan speed etc. is exceptional. I’m not sure how to adjust the audio, as the software app that supposedly comes with it isn’t anywhere to be found. Additionally, the software allows you to choose between 4 different modes of performance, from ‘quiet’ to ‘performance’, which can be be toggled with a couple clicks. Yes, it’s not 4K, but after viewing it at its highest resolution and frame-rate, it’s hardly discernible. Bottom line: you’re getting a laptop that is exceptionally powerful for its price range.
