Wow!
This is an exceptional shave brush for $10, this would be exceptional at $60. The handle is where I'll start, I like the length, nice that it's longer with a smaller diameter. I've had brushes with short thick handles, and they look nice, but feel clumsy in the hand. I like the rosin over wood or plastic or ceramic for that matter. Feels nice dry and not slick when wet and soapy. I guess maybe a pewter end cap would give a little flair, but the weight is nice the way it is, meh maybe a two tone rosin or something, really it's fine. Now the brush, holy cow! A very generous knot, 24mm and a big beautiful bloom. The length is very nice, keeps the lather in the brush and of your hand for the most part. Bristles are very supple, but the knot is full enough to give a nice dense body. No problem working a lather, weather a bar or a soft soap like Proraso, it really digs in nice does not collapse at all. Lather on the soap or in a bowl/mug, this brush really is lovely, and I feel like it's sturdy enough to stuff in my travel accoutrements without worrying about it. It's a trooper with a soft touch. Buy a few before the seller realizes how nice they are.

Surprisingly good, especially at the low price.
I've used a lot of shaving brushes over the last decade or so, and I find that I tend to favor synthetics for their easy care as general softness. I bought this brush mainly because I liked the look of the handle and it was cheap, but it has quickly become my daily brush.Compared to the popular "Plisson-style" knots that most synthetic brushes use these days, this brush has significantly more backbone. I don't know if it is a denser knot like the description claims (it doesn't SEEM denser) or if the fibers are just a little bit thicker but it doesn't flatten out as quickly as many other synthetics do however it DOES splay easily when lathering your face.I also find the extra backbone gives this brush a little more "scritch" than many synthetics. It is soft, but you can feel it scrubbing your face a little while lathering which is actually very pleasant. It isn't as scritchy as boar or black badger, but not as silky soft as the Plisson-style synthetics either.Overall this is a great brush! It is durable, has a gorgeous handle that feels comfortable in my hand. It loads soap and lathers like a champ. It has replaced many more expensive brushes as my daily shaving brush.

Performs great; a pleasure to use and a great value at this price
Having used boar and badger brushes for 20-some years (and one other synthetic brush recently), I found this brush to be a great value! With its classically colored bristles and tortoise-shell colored resin handle, it looks great. The size of the knot allows it to perform very well; it creates a rich lather as quickly and easily as my old badger brush (which has been shedding hairs ever since I bought it years ago.) I bought this after looking at loads of reviews also and also trying a 21mm synthetic knot from another maker. This brush, with its larger 24mm knot, creates a good lather much more easily than the smaller synthetic knot.It has enough backbone to feel like it's exfoliating well, yet is very soft and gentle on the face. And, other than a couple hairs at first, it has not shed. For the $10 I spent, I feel this is an excellent value, and it has become my main brush.Added, Oct. 2020: have had this brush now for nearly a year. It has not lost a single bristle since original review; still like new and working great! Fantastic value.

Good beginning brush
I just started in the wet shaving world. So I had to buy a razor, blades, brush, bowl, soaps, and post shave skin care all at once. This meant I had to be a bit more budget conscious in my gear selections. After reading reviews, on Amazon & other online sources, I decided to give this brush a try as my first brush. My thought was I would rather beat up a budget synthetic brush, rather than an expensive silvertip, while I learn how to properly get a good lather in my bowl. This seems to have been a good decision so far. This brush holds a good amount of water, and I've been able to whip my soap into a nice foam.I've only been using this brush for about a month, but I have noticed that it has shed a couple bristles already. Only 2-3, but something I'll watch as I continue using it.When it comes time to replace this brush I'd go for an actual badger hair brush. But I would also buy this brush again for my traveling. It's a good brush at a price that I won't get too worked up if I forgot it in a hotel by accident.

SOFTEST BRUSH I'VE EVER FELT
First, I'll start off with the disclaimer that this is in fact my first synthetic, non-badger hair brush. With that being said, IT'S THE SOFTEST THING I'VE EVER PUT TO MY FACE! It holds lather well, however, for some reason, i experienced difficulty applying said lather in an even layer on my face. Also, it takes slightly longer to build a thick lather because the hairs lack the coarseness of badger hair. But it's not that much more difficult, because the knot is so dense and thick. The handle is long, weighty, and beautiful. At $11 USD, this is one of my best purchases of all time! It fits well on my Perfecto Deluxe Black Razor and Brush Stand (which has a brush slot that's 28mm wide) and fits slightly loosely on my Je&Co Shaving Set stand (which has a 32mm slot). For the price, this item can't be beat!!It hasn't shed anything yet, like most of my other badger hair brushes did from the start, but I will update my review if i notice any loose hairs!!
