We switched from disposable to reusable straws years ago for the financial savings and to reduce our waste. But the hard plastic straws we were using were a pain to clean and could not withstand the heat of the dishwasher. These metal straws are extra wide, fit perfectly on a dishwasher tine, and have the added benefit of getting and staying cold when placed in an iced beverage. They can accommodate thick liquids, like smoothies or milkshakes. We are very pleased with the product.

These straws certainly have their place. They are incredibly strong, do not dent, and are very vibrant in color. I have had them for a few months now and there haven't been any nicks in the color, so that makes me very happy. It's a very nice bonus that it came with the cleaning brush too!

i bought these because i felt guilty using plastic smoothie straws every single day for my smoothie and wanted to help reduce my trash output. these straws are perfect, theres no weird smell or taste from the metal, they clean SO easily,and the straw gets cold from the smoothie so it keeps it cold. no complaint with these

Yay to straws. I hear a straw war is a brewin ~ and I do enjoy a good straw, these also make the drink either remain colder or hotter depending on the beverage. They are good clean fun, and will keep in the neutral zone of the Straw Wars.
