The BEST detector under $500 I could find anywhere
The BEST detector under $500 I could find anywhere! and it shipped super fast! used it for finding bad wires in the wall (huge fire hazard) and finding emf around the house and clients houses. The can opener and unsealed microwaves are the worst! and CFL's Really how is the legal? Anyway this is amazing widest range and it tells you everything you need to know even for a person without lots of electrical understanding!

Very useful
Very useful. Caused me to move because the telecommunications tower in line of sight of my living room turned out to be radiating way too much.

Cheaply made low quality way overpriced
Looks as if it was assembled in a high school electronics class. They use surface mount technology on the homemade PCB and the soldering is tradable!I have been an electronic technician for over 10 years, designed PCB's hand soldered SMT and assembled to a finished product. So when i say the quality is of a highschool student, take my word on it. As for accuracy i have no means by which to test or compare the unit. Value is at most $20

Does this make this a bad meter? Not at all
Let me assist all of you who are not educated with measuring RF radiation. This meter only starts at 0.005 microwatts per square centimeter (which converts over to and is equal to 50 microwatts per square meter). Do you know what this means? You most likely do not or you would not actually want this meter except for measuring higher exposure levels. What this is means is this.... According to the Bioinitiative Report 2012, the scientists summarized "biological effects from RF radiation start showing up in human beings at about 3.4 to 6 microwatts per square meter." People even feel symptoms from radio frequency radiation at 1 microwatt per square meter. Thus, simply put, this meter does not even start registering radio frequency radiation at its lowest end until about 14 times higher than where biological effects start from wireless radiation exposure. Does this make this a bad meter? Not at all. It is great for showing the higher levels of exposure. But if you want a meter that starts showing your radiation at much lower levels then you should use a Gigahertz Solutions RF meter or the Acoustimeter or Acousticom 2, which start much lower and are way more helpful for measuring what human beings are affected by in terms of exposure levels.

No BS...
This is a very affordable, good meter. If you want to pin down the 2012 Bioinitiative Report.... you gotta go to .0003 to .0006 (micro)w/cm(squared). And that's for outdoor exposure. You could settle on the 2007 Report of .1 (micro)w/cm(squared).You gotta spend a whole lotta money on a meter to accurately work with the 2012 Report. Most of the meters out there really don't get down there. Don't have the frequency range. Some are too sensitive. Causing error. Like weighted readings. Inaccuracy. Etc. You don't need a toy. This is a very simple, bland, straight forward, single axis meter. It has a good rubber armor cover. The readings need to be summed up for three axis total. Or you can just not worry about that. Work with it. It will tell you if you have any problem.Basically... if you want close to 2012 Report results. You're looking for no meter movement. It's a very good, honest, inexpensive meter, for a homeowner to work with. It's no BS. For what's available. I highly recommend it.I do own this. Just didn't buy it through Amazon. (I buy enough from Amazon already)

Amazing meter at a good price
I found the meter to be rugged and very portable. It has helped me find strong EM inside the house and around my neighborhood. I would definitely recommend it!
