Exactly what I was looking for. I'm riding from New Jersey to Alabama the first week of October. I needed a pant warm enough to get me through cold mornings and evenings in the east but also vent enough for the warmer days down south. I don't intend on using the liner. I have rain pants to put over them if it rains. Liners make no sense to me for many reasons. Like all Scorpion products they are a quality item. But if you have a butt (which I don't) you might want to stay away from Scorpion. The one problem I have with these pants is they run small. Not your typical euro riding pants small but smaller. I typically wear a 38 Jean's and XXL in riding pants. The XXL in these is a bit snug around the waist and hips. I have the Scorpion Seattle pants that I wear for cold weather but Yosemite's run smaller.

I ordered the X-large as most of the reviews I read indicated that the sizes run a bit small. The fit around the waist is snug for my 36 waist but otherwise loose around the hips and legs. I've ridden with a base layer under the ScorpionExo pants with no discomfort or binding. The knee/shin pads appear to ride a little low when standing but otherwise just OK when seated. How this fits you will depend on your own build and posture. Overall I think it's a good product and worth what I paid for it.My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to increase the knee/shin pad insert height adjustment. In other words, make it so that the inserts can rider higher than they currently do.
