Amazing value in a gi whose quality rivals other "premium" brands.
This is a great gi for any price point. The quality is on par with with "premium" gis on the market (such as Shoyoroll). I really like the fact that there is almost no external branding or patches other than a small tab on skirt of the top and top of the pants. Too many brands trying to make you look like a NASCAR racer/walking billboard... just give me a nice gi to train in.The feel of the jacket material is very nice, and as others have mentioned the extended reinforced cuff is a very nice detail, something that I haven't seen anywhere else. It makes it a little more difficult for your opponent to grab and control your sleeves with a pistol or fingers in grip. The collar seems to be standard thickness, not too soft where someone can get a death grip and not too stiff where the collar sticks up like a Jedi hood if you shift down while on your back. It's definitely a bit more fitted around the torso with room in the shoulders for movement. The pants are very comfy and have the same belt loop configuration of higher end gis. It's not ripstop (thank goodness) so it moves quite a bit better and doesn't stick to your legs when you're sweating. The sleeves do measure a bit longer than similar gis I have in A2 (Koral, SYR, CTRL) so I ordered an A2S. The sleeve length is almost exactly the same as the A2 gis in those brands that have been consistently dried in the dryer so take note.Overall a great value and this will be my go to when I inevitably need to add more to my training wardrobe.

Updated review: Initial sizing problem fixed by seller
Update: After leaving my initial bad review I was contacted by Felix of Reference Design Group. We concluded that the original gi I received was improperly made and slipped through QC. He offered to replace it. The new gi was received promptly, and fits well. After one hot wash/dry cycle the jackets arms are slightly long, but not bad. The quality seems on par with my much more costly Gracie Barra gi. My Barra gi has rip stop pants, which the RDG gi does not. On the other hand I like the other design features of theRDG pants better (ties and waist design). The jackets seems exactly the same except the logos. Overall I was pretty blown away that RDG cared enough to contact me after receiving a bad review. I still feel that 1 star has to come off for the original gi going out improperly sized.Original review:Seems to be of good quality for the money BUT the size chart for size A1L is COMPLETELY WRONG. I have a Gracie Barra A2 that is the right length but too big so I ordered size A1L of this gi. I'm 5'9 1\2" / 140 lbs _ right in the range of A1L. The pants go below my feet and the jacket sleeves extend to BEYOND MY FINGER TIPS. I'm not sure what chuckle head came up with their size chart, but I can tell you that A1L is sized for people substantially over 6' tall. Returning the product.

this gi stacks up nicely. So if you are a fan of any ...
I have worn several companies across the many gi that I have owned over the years- from Shoyoroll to HyperFly to Illest, Fuji, and DayxDay- and in comparison to those brands, this gi stacks up nicely. So if you are a fan of any of those reputable companies, this gi won’t disappoint. The quality of the banding and stitching is obvious. The gi fit exactly like the sizing chart indicated it would (unlike Shoyoroll which can be a hit or miss). Being an awkward size, this is extremely important to me and a hallmark of quality.Though “blank”, the gi is actually super clean in that absence of unnecessary branding (Since when did Jiu Jitsu gi start looking like something Ricky Bobby would wear?).The gi is perfectly weighted for durability, comfort, and use. Looking forward to seeing more from this emerging company.

Simple and beautiful, great purchase
I contacted the seller before I ordered to make sure I was sizing myself correctly and their response was fast and helpful. This gi is beautiful. Without being much more expensive than other starter gis, the quality is so much higher. It is very lightweight and comfortable- the pants are soft out of the package and have great mobility. The material is clearly going to be durable. The limbs are definitely pretty long, no doubt to accommodate users who want to shrink it to fit more perfectly, which I may do with the jacket. Please buy this item, I want them to be very successful!

Comfy!
First off, this gi is very comfy. The lightness and soft fabric has been a great for hot summer training sessions. Second, it's nice to find a gi like this for under $100 shipped. Third, I'm glad this gi is not preshrunk. Being 5'7 and 160 lbs with shorter arms, I was able to throw it in the dryer and shrink the jacket a bit for my ideal fit. Fitment might not be a big deal for lot of people, but I care about how it looks/feels. Look good, feel good, train good!

Great Value
I bought this for my husband before it started really heating up this summer and he is so happy about this purchase. He's a bigger guy and was initially worried about the durability of a light gi, but this gi has held up very well, especially considering the hard sessions with the big guys in the gym.The sizing was a little confusing to me at first because most brands offer just a few sizes, but their size chart is pretty easy to understand. My husband isn't a stickler for fit, but having all these sizes to choose from is nice because this is the only gi he owns that isn't overly baggy. Gi's always seem to either be too small or way too baggy for him. Thankfully, this company offers a good solution and at an awesome price!

Best sub $100 gi
This lightweight gi has been such a blessing to have recently. Especially when it is as hot as it is now. It's pretty cool that this company is able to offer so many different sizes at this price point. A1's usually don't fit all that great on me, but this A1 is just about right for me (I put the jacket the dryer for a few minutes for a little fine tuning). The sleeve interior detail is a really nice touch, much to my training partners' dismay. All in all, this is great product at this price point. I also love that there aren't any loud colors or obnoxious logos all over the gi.
