Keeps the Raspberry Pi 4 nice and cool.
I recently bought a Raspberry Pi version 4. This is the fastest Pi yet but runs rather hot, so I needed a case with a fan. As the Pi version 4 is so new, there are currently very few cases to choose from. This one suits my needs perfectly. It is open sided, so it will work with all versions of the Pi, including version 4, which has a different connector layout to the version 3 and 2. It has a fan, which is very quiet but cools the Pi very effectively. There is even room for a small heat-sink on the processor. (See pictures.)The case does not come with any feet, so I used the domed nuts on the bottom instead of the top, which prevent the screw heads from scratching the table.

Does what it says on the Tin
Not so much a case as simply two 'shelves'. :-)Easy to put together with the included cross-point screwdriver though pliers will assist tightening things up.Put the 30mm fan 'label-side down' so it blows air onto the CPU. No additional heatsink was used.Got this because Pi 4 cases are very thin on the ground having all been snapped up in the initial Pi 4 buying frenzies.Since this 'case' has no sides there's no problem encountered at all using Pi 4 with its changed-round USB/Ethernet sockets and the new USB-C power and the two Micro-HDMI video sockets. The bare board was mostly running around 55ºCIn this case with the fan running off the 5v rail on the GPIO pins its running at 41ºC - a significant and useful improvement.Definitely worth a punt.

Nice case but Raspberry pi 4 users might need to buy 4 longer screws.
The small motherboard fixing screws are too short for Raspberry pi 4. The screws, at least with my Raspberry pi 4, are not long enough to go through the pi's holes and this means you can't add motherboard securing nut or even use the screws. I had one slightly longer screw of my own and that seems like a good workaround (unfortunately I only have the one and I've ordered some more screws). Given the heating up of the Raspberry pi 4 (the USB ports get hot as well) this case seems a better option than the official Raspberry pi 4 case. The included fan is a must for Raspberry pi 4 users until a firmware fix is released for 'overheating' probably.I don't know if every Raspberry pi 4 user will need to get additional screws, but I've had to. However don't let that put you off the case. The screws are only about £1.20 for 10 (you only need 4 screws).

Quiet
Quiet and refined - terrible instructions DO NOT try and follow them - use your common sense and put it together the way you think not the way it is photographed - certainly the direction the pillars are fitted (better reversed)THIS IS IMPORTANTI damaged the board attempting to tighten the nuts - fortunately I was able to repair itI suspect the person writing the instructions was not the designer just an idiot

Keeps the Pi much cooler!
There were no instructions to show how to assemble which wasn't a big problem, a little thinking and picture-looking and it was good. I noted my Pi runs much cooler than an enclosed case too so there's that.

Cooling case.
Very quiet fan keeping my pi4 cool. I won’t be using it with a camera but the slot is not directly over the camera connectior. I like it.

Avoid this
Probably the worst cooling case I’ve ever come across . Screws are too short plus the seller sent me an odd number of screws (5 out of 8 or 2 out of 4...)

Fits great. Cood cooling, fairly quiet.
Does the job nicely. Not too complicated. All the bits fit. Easily modified with a Dremel if you need to depending on what you plug into your raspi.
