Solid lug wrench.. not so Professional
Let's talk lug wrenches ! The 20" long "standard non-metric" lug wrench I own now was the cheapest lug wrench I could find when I paid $18 for it 3 years ago. It's chromed, beautifully machined around the side edges, and rounded off perfectly at the ends. It has the English sizes clearly etched in the side of the wrench. It still has a shiny chrome finish after numerous uses, and is made in China. When I unpacked my new 20" long metric Kentool 35656 Professional it was filthy, and still had metal shaving shavings on the ends left over from when it was machined. A few paper towels later I had cleaned the metal shavings off the ends and wiped the dirt off the shafts. I went to wash my hands after cleaning the shafts, and noticed the blue paint from the shaft was all over my hands. Obviously the paint was not baked on.. just painted and sent out the door. The ends of the wrench are very roughly machined/rounded off.. just a lazy "who cares" machining job. KenTool also didn't even bother to mark the metric sizes anywhere on the wrench. Again.. it apparently was just too much work. They did however; take the time to clearly etch the KenTool logo in the center of the wrench.MY THOUGHTS: This lug wrench fits my metric lug nuts with no problems. Although this is a very solid wrench, 1/2 pound heavier than my English lug wrench of the same size, why pay 33 bucks for this so-called PROFESSIONAL wrench ? It's poorly painted, no size markings, and poorly machined. Nothing about it says "professional", and there's surely nothing professional about KenTool quality control. There are other choices out there for a cheap 20" metric lug wrench like Amazon's KR Tools 50716 for 15 bucks that's eligible for free shipping. Although it won't be drop forged just ask yourself, "How many times in my lifetime have I seen or heard of someone twisting a lug wrench so hard they broke it."? With that said.. if you frequently add 2 foot long pipe extensions to both ends of your lug wrench for added torque, then you may actually need this wrench.

Solid and sturdy forged construction - made in USA
This review is being written 8/6/2013 for the Ken-Tool 35656 4 Way Professional Lug Wrench sold and shipped by Amazon on their website.I was looking for a very strong lug wrench for emergency usage on the road. Typical lug wrenches are made in China and have a weld that holds the two cross pieces in place. During usage, this weld is stressed and may break. This renders the tool useless, but more importantly to me, may injure the person using it. Casual web surfing for these lug wrenches show examples of failures of this kind. The Ken-Tools lug wrench eliminates this weak point by the forged instead of welded construction. This is not a "pretty" tool in that it has a rather rough painted finish that arrived with some scratches and blemishes. Others have noted that the tool needs to be wiped down initially to remove dirt and paint dust. This is true.It would be a plus if the ends were etched with the sizes. However, for a typical consumer use, the tool is kept in the vehicle and only one size is normally used. Mark this end with a piece of tape and the identification problem is solved. Also true is that this is a heavy weight socket end, not a "thinwall" socket. This may not fit inside some recessed alloy wheels.I've added pictures that show the build quality, forged construction, diameter of all four ends, and the paint/dirt residue. This is the tool that may save me along the road some day. Even if you don't change your own tires, I recommend keeping one of these in your vehicle for emergency purposes.

Well made!!!
Very well made professional tool and the tolerances are tight. It fits on my VW Jetta aluminum wheels. Yes, there are no markings indicating the size of the socket on the wrench. Overall, a very strong and dependable lug wrench that won't bend or break at the weld.

Heavy duty lug wrench.
I was looking for a new lug wrench for my new truck and found the reviews to be rather confusing. All seemed to indicate that this is a heavy duty high quality product. A few indicated that the lugs were too thick for use on passenger vehicles. I just received the wrench and it is heavy duty and it does fit the lugs on my Toyota Tacoma pickup. I used to have a Jeep Wrangler and the lugs would have fit that vehicle also, so I'm pretty sure it will fit most passenger vehicles. I have used the standard welded together chrome plated lug wrenches from the local auto parts store. I have used these wrenches to remove lugs that were so tight I had to stand on the wrench to get the lug to loosen. I was wanting something more heavy duty because I was really lucky that the other wrenches didn't break apart when I had to stand on one arm. That could have resulted in injury. This wrench appears to be a single forged piece of steel. I've no doubt this one will hold up under a lot more stress than I placed on the cheaper welded ones. Not only is it heavy duty, I can tell by the weight that it is heavier steel than the welded ones I used to have.

The Incredible Hulk of lug wrenches
It lays quietly in your trunk. Dormant. Unassuming. You forget it’s there. Then one day you his a nail. Or a chard of glass. You go flat. You’re mad. You reach for this baby. It feels solid in your hand. You slip it over a lug nut. Apply some pressure. The nut won’t budge. So you push harder. You start kicking. Cursing. Stomping. Screaming. This thing can take it. It’s blue. It’s heavy. It’s strong. You stand on it. The lug nut groans. It moves a bit. The wrench is blue. It’s powerful. The nut moves a bit more. It groans. You stomp on the wrench again. BAM! The nut relents. You spin the wrench and the nut is free! Four more to go and your flat is off. But this wrench is power. It’s the Hulk of Lug Wrenches. Don’t mess with me, road debris. I’ve got the Ken-Tool!
