Massive fan of these bars
I’ve tried all the different foamie bars shampoo & conditioners. Apart from the coconut which was really drying on my hair personally - I’m a big fan of this brand. Ideal for holidays & travelling. Last ages,Eco friendly and easy to hang up in shower, what’s not to like! . The Aloe Vera is probably my favourite and leaves hair soft and not like it’s had soap in it. I’ve used for months now and won’t go back to conventional shampoo & conditioners.

Devine scent, but want more lather!
This is the second time I have bought this shampoo bar because I loved it so much. However, this time around the lather isn't as good. I'm not sure if they've tweaked the recipe? It still smells AMAZING, and it gives my hair a good clean, but a bit more effort is required to get the lather I want.

New fave!
New fave bar and only 4 stars due to the fact that it doesn't foam a lot! The irony lolIt does clean ym hair really well and it is down to my waist, still leaves it fully cleaned and if anything I've noticed I can go longer between washed.Doesn't feel like it strips my hair of too much oil but does something magical to keep just enough to have my hair happy for longer. The only thing that took getting used to was the texture of the vmbar. It's solid like a hand soap and it feels like it slightly drags on the hair if you apply direct, so i would be cautio9of using too much pressure when working into the hair.Doesn't foam a lot but does a fab job so don't let that put you off! The conditioner bar foams up loads so you get that super clean end feeling which is nice after the wacmxy feeling of the shampoo bar. I would definitely buy together again.

shampoo bar
This is a very good idea but the actual product is not as 'foamie' as I would have liked. Other shampoo bars I have used have produced much more lather - I have curly hair but was a bit disappointed with the lather from the bar.

No foam!
This bar smells absolutely lovely. However, it is virtually impossible to get a good foam to work into your hair.

Nearly ninety washes per bar!
I admit to having been a bit hesitant to use the Foamie Shampoo bar (with coconut oil for normal hair) as I'd never used anything but liquid shampoo before. However, now that I've used it I never intend going back to bottled shampoo. This is so easy to use.I started using my bar in September 2019 and am on the very last bit, which has just broken off the ribbon, now in March 2020 (it's about the size & thickness of a pound coin). My hair is short, but I worked out that I got nearly 90 washed out of the bar.The perfume is not overpowering, the packaging is cardboard. The soap comes on a ribbon so you can hang it up to dry so you don't get a soggy scummy soap. I don't intend to ever use liquid shampoo again. The only thing I would say is that my hair was coloured. Once I started using this product my colour faded pretty quickly. Whether the shampoo took the colour out, or whether it was simply because this does not contain the 'colour protection' chemicals (and to be fair I started using a non-colour protection conditioner at the same time), I don't know. However, if you're precious about your hair colour then maybe use this with caution. For me, I decided to ditch the colouring chemicals at the same time as the shampooing chemicals and plastic so it's no problem.

Foamie?
I will start with the pluses - the shampoo bar comes beautifully packaged, two lots of cardboard sleeves (we ARE being eco-friendly here, aren't we?) and the smell is strong and pretty - think "Laura Ashley" crossed with your Grannie's handbag, that's the smell we are talking about..I purchased the Hibiscus, a light 'girly' pink.Pleasantly shaped and ideal for holding in your wet hand, with a small cord so that you can hang it up following use.Now comes to the part that confused me..It IS called FOAMIE isn't it?Well, that's exactly what it does not do, FOAM.Despite my best attempts to get a good lather going, I failed miserably. All I managed was a wishy-washy milky pink liquid with the slightest of bubble residue.I actually had to double check that I hadn't ordered a bar of conditioner instead of shampoo!!I have long hair, approximately 20" in length, and by the time I had worked hard to coat my hair with this product, rolling it round and round in my hand and down my dripping wet hair, I was tired out.I am used to a well known high-street brand of shampoo bar, which instantly foams into a rich lather, meaning that I have to use far less and works far quicker, even with long hair.I was hoping for something of at least similar quality (definitely not cheaper though, this is not an inexpensive product) and for me, I was disappointed.I will not be buying FOAMIE again, unless I had a faulty bar and its 'foaminess' was broken! :)

Does what it says.
I have used the product twice so far. I have frizzy, dry and fine hair. I’ve always been under the impression I needed expensive shampoos to deal with it. I have recently decided to reduce my plastic waste and decided to give this a try.First wash it felt ok, a bit flat. Second wash was much better. I am still using conditioner in a bottle but will be looking into getting a conditioner bar soon.My only con was the giant plastic bubble envelope it came in. It defeats the purpose of trying to reduce plastic waste. The envelope was way too big compared to the size of the bar.The product itself is good, it will take time to get used to it but I can see it being a regular in the house now.
