Do not buy. This isn't even returnable.
To be safe, I usually put a dab of a new product on my arm to make sure I don't have a bad reaction with it. I've done this many times in the past, even with hair dye like they usually say to on box dyes, and I've never had this happen. The ingredients looked totally fine, so unless there's something in there I'm not aware of..It's red, itchy and really warm.I'm not able to return this product.

No longer silicone free
I've been buying this a long time. I was looking at the ingredients because it's not been the same to my hair for a while. I was shocked it now contains amodimethicone down at the bottom of the ingredients. It did not just a few years ago. (I buy in bulk about once a year, so I'm not sure when they changed the formula, probably when they changed bottles) I guess this explains why my hair has been so dull and lifeless lately. I've included a picture of the bottom of the old bottle with the old formula (when they were short and fat instead of the tall skinny bottles they use now). I'll be looking for a new product for my hair.

Love this shampoo and conditioner
Love this shampoo and conditioner! I'm a big fan of seaweed products--so beneficial for the skin and hair. This really leaves my hair in great condition--I've noticed less breakage since I've been using these. Also, of note, the unscented version of the shampoo and conditioner really is unscented--no smell of seaweed or anything else. Not that I would mind the scent of seaweed, but I know a lot of other people would object. No worries--no smell!

Unscented conditioner, used to be great, now smells rancid
I use unscented products due to sensitivities. This used to have a pleasant coconut/ citrus smell from ingredients, leave my hair soft and tangle free.I opened the previous bottle after it sat for a month, noticed the color changed to Ivory from White and it smelled somewhere between chemical and rancid. I just received a new bottle today, opened it, same thing. Compared ingredients with my before change and now empty bottle. Ingredients are in a different order and it now includes some other ingredients like avocado oil among others. My scalp is still calming down from the bit that I tested a week ago.(Old bottle is on the right, new on the left in photos)This had been such a good product, I can't buy it any more and have to try to find a new unscented conditioner.

It barely condition....but is unscented as advertised
This product is rated highly on EWG’s clean product database. It does not have an odor and I am very pleased to have a safe natural product for my hair. However, it is hardly moisturizing and I do not believe it conditions thick or curly hair very well. My hair is just as rough and tangled as before I used it. I will continue to use it because it is unscented and works slightly, but I do not plan to order again.

Good but my hair just needs something more
Pretty good for a natural conditioner. It doesn’t smell, applies like normal and doesn’t leave hair oily or anything. But I have found that I need something more for my hair. I have fine/brittle hair and though I’ve switched all of my other beauty products to natural and paraben free, I think that my conditioner is the 1 thing I’m willing to break that rule with. The fact is that you only really apply conditioner to the ends of your hair, so there isn’t much need to worry about the chemicals that your skin might absorb from a conditioning product (I know you still come in contact with the ends of your hair every day and you can still absorb some parabens and whatnot, but realistically it doesn’t matter. You’re not soaking your pores in the stuff.)This conditioner is by far the best I’ve experienced as far as paraben free conditioner goes, but my hair is too fragile for it and needs whatever chemicals go in to generic conditioner.

Not moisturing for me, and smelled awful to me.
For my color treated thick medium length hair, this conditioner was not at all moisturizing. My hair came out extremely dry after using this conditioner one time. I used a lot, too! Also, this conditioner smells very chemically and kind of funky "off" to me. I am very sensative to smells, so you may not notice or may not mind the smell. I have been able to find fragrance free conditioner that *works!* and also does not smell funny. You might wan t try SEEN brand fragrance free if you have dry hair, and you are sensative to smells. They have fragrance free conditioner that is awesome! and a really fantastic fragrance free blow out creme, too. Good shampoo as well.

Not great
This stuff feels a little "hair-phobic" if that makes sense; it's like the product itself is repelled away from my hair when I put it on and it doesnt want to stay on. It also kind of smells like the compostable toilets at the beach. Overall not a fan. I like the shampoo though!
