Looks attractive and feels comfortable in your hand. Not as heavy as I'd have liked and the surface finish scratches and flakes off instantly with string contact showering the guitar, me and floor in grey micro glitter. Pretty sure the scratched contact area of the bar will rip the strings up quickly. Given strings are about the same price as the bar it's turned out to be an uneconomical purchase. I've a cheap steel bottleneck thats had 30 years service that is still highly polished and virtually scratch free in comparison to the tone bar I've used three times!

This tone bar is TINY. It weighs in at just 4.1oz, which is almost half the weight of a larger Shubb tone bar. It’s too small to hold correctly, as if held with the tip under your forefinger, you can barely grasp the other end with your thumb.Too short, too small and too light. Probably suitable for lap steel, but nowhere near right for a standard 10-string pedal steel. I’ll maybe tune one of my acoustics to an open tuning and repurpose it to playing slide guitar.Ordered a Shubb to get the job done properly.

This tone bar is the ideal weight and design for me, enabling me to get a much better sound with my lap steel resonator guitar. It is also beautifully finished with no rough edges. I'd recommend it.

Not as heavy as a 'bullet' steel, this item is easier to use but, of course, does not have the rounded end of the bullet style. It is very comfortable to play and being both narrower and lighter than a bullet steel, it is easier to use on fretted guitars or CBGs when they are being played 'lap style'.

Bought this as a gift when considering buying my Dad a lap steel guitar.From the feedback it's perfectly good at the job. Though if you own any kind of slide that would suffice for the same job.May come in handy if you have problems folding your wrist backwards though

This item came in reasonable time.I am a beginner hobbyist so it was fine for me.It was as it appeared in the ad. I am happy with the purchase.

This is great, I love it. Much better than the bullet style. Very smooth, not too heavy or too light. I use it at a slight angle on my lap steel, worth every penny. I would buy it again most certainly.
