I like this Wok Brush
I like this Wok Brush, but it was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. It works fine, but I could see someone having an issue if they do not have big hands.

Long Bristles
I like the size of this. It allows you to grab it in various places; sort of choke up on it, depending on what you are cleaning. I can get in between the grates on my cast iron frying pan, after I am done grilling on the stove or choke up further to get a stiffer brush to clean my wok or other cast iron pans after use. You can make this as stiff or as loose as you would like and I like that flexibility.Because of the length, it also makes it ideal for cleaning in between the bamboo bristles after you are done with it. I just leave it on the counter to dry. While you might want to put it in the dishwasher, I would not recommend it, as it is tied with several strips of what looks like a synthetic cloth like material. It reminds me of how a samurai sword handle is tied, but not as elaborate or intricate. This looks like an old Asian style heirloom and feels very comfortable in your hand. I handled properly, it should last many years, but you should be gentle while cleaning this. If my scrubbing brushes did not turn black when I tried cleaning my cast iron, I would use them, but this cleans up so much faster.Anyway, after it is dry, I put a rubber band over the tip, to keep the bristles from fraying or breaking and then put it in a glass jar, handle first - for no particular reason - and put it under the sink or in a cabinet to store. As it is about a foot long, it will stay out of the way and not get damaged in a utensil drawer. I'm very happy I bought this, as I am trying to remove all Teflon pans from my arsenal and using only stainless steel and cast iron.

One of those 'where have you been all my life' purchases
I only wish I could get the hour plus of my life back that I spent researching these after seeing it on Ruhlman's site. I spent all that time comparing and reading reviews because the price seemed very high @ about $35 or more for this size. When I was about to pull the trigger on an expensive, shorter, poorly rated scrubber I chanced into this $6.95 Prime listing and clicked on buy it now without thinking twice. At this price I was happy to take a chance as it was one quarter the price of a crappy smaller one. It paid off in spades. This is a miracle new find for me that's only been around 5,000 years. I use it mostly on full clad stainless. My clad wok is like the day I bought it. The surface is fully restored to original luster and the seasoning is intact. So, I may be late to the party but I'm a full convert. There is a solid core in many of the upper end $50 models that may be amazing. I can just speak about this cheap iteration and the state that I don't know how a more expensive model can do much for me to justify any price difference, much less such a huge disparity vs this add-on brush. It works instantly and with 100% effectiveness so there's not room for too much improvement.

falls apart immediately, not significantly cheaper to justify quality.
would have paid a bit more for higher quality. it sheds bamboo immediately.

carbon steel and cast iron
works great on my carbon steel wok and my lodge cast iron cookware. After almost a year, the bamboo pieces are getting a bit loose. Not falling out, just sliding around a bit - It's lasted about 5x longer than a sponge lasts, and it's got at LEAST another 6 months of cleanings left in it. I might just demote this one to camping use and buy another one for the house.I would buy this again.

Good but don't look for durability here
After a year of using this, it does not hold together very well. What do you want for $10? It's OK, but I don't know if I would recommend or buy it again.

These actually work better than I thought they ever would
Cleans the cast iron wok great. Easy to clean, just when you try it put a paper towel down to soak up the moisture. The 11" is harder to store, but great to use. Keeps the heat of the wok far from your hands.
