Decided to err on the generous side and give this a 4-star. Probably should have made it a 3 but I'm going to share the blame. What in the world made me think that putting velcro in my hair would be a good idea? I haven't done anything that stupid since I was 5.Other than that the visor seems to be well made-- in Vietnam. It is 100% cotton, came in the color I ordered (a rich purple) and has a firm, preshaped brim.There are no washing instructions.So, if you are bald or have no objection to developing a bald spot on the back of your head this visor will likely please you.You, of course, have the option of wrapping a piece of cloth or tape around the velcro, but it will be visable if you can't find something to match your chosen color.I'm going to keep mine because with some adjustments it will work for my purposes and it was cheap--and no one will ever see it.I would advise others who have hair, and who aren't looking for a craft project, to pay a little more for something that has a method of adjustment that doesn't involve velcro.

I have ordered a couple of these visors. The wide band w/ velcro closure is comfortable and the larger brim provides plenty of shade without being too intrusive.

This item was purchased for my husband he for his job he has to wear bright yellow for safety reasons and he loves wearing caps baseball caps and visors I will recommend this one I have wash the visor several times and the stitching or the sewing has not fallen out the color is still bright

It’s a typical visor you can buy at Walmart or dollar store. Rim is on the shorter side , not much sun protection from it. I was disappointed to receive the wrong color. My golf team mate ordered a purple one & and received a red one too! I suppose they thought we wouldn’t bother sending it back. Who knows?!

I like the way this visor looks and fits. It has a Velcro closure in the back. The Velcro does not catch my hair. It did arrive with a crease in the front from shipping in a bag, but I think that this will eventually smooth out.

Purchased this for a costume (80's Waluigi, if you're wondering), and it fit the bill (pun intended) perfectly. The canvas-y fabric seems to be of pretty good quality, and the color is just as vibrant as the photo online. It's not a "sun hat" style brim, but rather a sporty style, which means the bill is somewhat narrow and will only shade your eyes, and not protect the sides of your face.What is not immediately apparent by the photo/description is that the hat is adjustable via hook-and-loop tape (velcro) in the back (not a slide adjust, like I expected), which works great, and adjusted small enough to fit my relatively tiny head, but will also go pretty big to accommodate larger noggins (though I think someone with an XL size head might be out of luck).Overall, a good deal for the $6 I paid for it.
