I gave this to my son for his birthday, and he LOVES it. It is quite fast. It can handle some light off-road driving. It got hung up in taller grass and leaves, but it worked great on dirt and short grass. He drove it off some kitchen chairs and the couch, and the car doesn't show any wear from it. So I think it's a pretty well-made car. The remote is easy to use, and the signal seems to be pretty strong. The car has all the adjustments you expect, like a trim adjustment to make sure it goes straight. The batteries are easy enough to charge with the included cable. I wish they were like my son's other car, where the battery stays in the car, and you plus the car into the outlet instead of removing the battery. But on the plus side, there are two batteries in the box, so you can keep driving after the first one goes dead. There isn't any indicator that either the remote or car are on when you turn them on, so if you forget to turn them off, there's no way to know without looking closely at the switch. Not a huge deal, but with a forgetful kid, they will probably get left on frequently. Either way, I'm very happy with the purchase and so is my son.

Christmas present for 5 year old. He enjoyed it until it started falling apart. Cheapest plastic ever. The wheels come off too easily. I like how you can remove the battery cover without having to take apart the car (does require removing one screw on the battery cover, but you can go without this screw as there are two snaps). Car pulls to the left a bit even when adjusted as far as possible. Batteries last 10-15 min, so I was glad there were 2. Which brings me to this point: the seller offered to send two additional batteries upon posting a review. I did this, sent in the photo of my review, and then they proceeded to manipulate me by saying they would only keep their end of the deal if I changed my review to 5 stars. I don't like such shady dealings. If a product can't stand on its own, and requires such dishonesty I want no part of it. Hence the one star review, and the return for something better.

If you are looking for something that has power that lasts, I would spend a little more money and buy something that goes at least 30 km/h. It goes maybe 8 mph. It’s a LOT smaller than it looks. This is a child’s rc car, not something that will be fun for a teenager or older. Battery lasts maybe 10 minutes on full charge until It dies and you can’t even go up an incline. The body is really well put together, It would be hard to break anything on this. I will say It was fun to terrorize my dog with It. That’s about all it’s fun for. I was just bummed about the power and the long lasting charge that It claims to have. It high centers so easily because it’s so low to the ground. Can’t drive through grass period. Rear wheel drive is weak. Tires are small and crash proof guards make It easy to get stuck on any kind of terrain. Drove it once and am returning It. My expectations were way too high.

When we took the car out of the box, my son really liked the look of the car. He has driven the car inside and out, mostly out. It has proven to be very durable and strong. He also likes how fast and responsive it is.The battery life is ok, he is thankful it came with 2. The batteries take sometime (about 4 hours) to charge but hold their charge for about 15 minutes, not amazing, but the car is very affordable.He did not like the remote. In the hand it does not feel very well built. His 4 year old brother got a hold of it and broke it. We have been in contact with the company and they have promised to get us a new one.Over all he thinks this is well worth the money and will provide years of fun if taken care of.

I've been into RC cars for most of my life. I wanted to buy an RC for my 6 year old but didn't want to shell out $200 for an associated or losi. I wanted something better that the old Radio Shack cars I started with and with all the good reviews thought this may be it, but it wasn't. Nothing is proportional. Throttle and steering are full lock or nothing. The front suspension sagged right out of the box and only got worse. Battery life was fine and speed was good, but after 11 months of is dead. The controller is non responsive. I paid thirty two for it, it's definitely not worth the forty five they are asking now

I am so dissatisfied with this product I dont even want to take time to explain what a POS..this product was. They were for our grandaughters and just took them out of the box last week to charge the batteries. I also bought the red version that got one more star than this POS. I'm sure it's to late to return but you get what you pay for I guess. MY ADVICE MOVE ON TO A BETTER CHOICE. FIRST TIME I REGRETTED MY AMAZON PURCHASERevised 10/4/19 0900hrs.I got a refund on my blue car and cannot get my refund on my Red car until I post another bad review on the Red car. Well the red car not available at this time. So I guess I would say my Red car was just as big of pos as my Blue car is.SCT.Got a full refund on my blue car still waiting for the refund to post on my red car.

The media could not be loaded.  The car looks cool out of the box and does come with 2 batteries which is nice. But after charging the batteries and finding some for through remote (not included), my son and I headed out to try our new toy. Boy were we disappointed, the car has very little power and basically stops as soon as it hits a surface with any texture. Grass; no way. Rubber mulch; no way. I certainly wouldn't try dirt or mud either. So if you are looking for an RC car that goes OK on pavement but noting else then buy it. Otherwise spend your $ elsewhere.

Took a very long time to arrive and when it did, steering didn’t work (could only go forward and backward) am now awaiting refund for return
