Get what you pay for would be a good review for this item. I ordered the raw dark cherry. In the pictures it is shown with what must be an extremely bright light behind it because you can see light through the amber. The bracelet I received the amber is black. If I place it on a bright light you can tell its amber but that is the only way. I was looking for a dark amber but not black. I’ve been wearing the bracelet for over a week and the elastic cord seems to be holding up well. Overall I give it 3 stars because the product doesn’t match that picture and I think when shopping online correct representation of the product is most important.

I am so glad I purchased this bracelet. I am making every effort to reduce imflamation in my body to reduce back pain from arthritis at an early age. Aside from implimenting many life style changes and utilizing other holistic tools I thought this could be a welcome addition considering the success I've had utilizing amber jewelry when my babies were teething. I'm not disappointed. I've gone from being in constant pain to not needing even a Tylenol for pain. I would recomend this for anyone who could use an extra weapon in their war against inflammation!

I make jewelry that uses the hook and eye wire technique. This is really hard on my wrists. But I don't want to quit because the work is really beautiful, and is heirloom quality. So reading the Natural Baltic Amber Bracelets could relieve my pain caught my attention. I've been wearing them and I've found them to help relieve my wrist and finger pain. I'm happy I don't need aspirin, or anything else for the pain.

I am only going to buy individually knotted products in the future. I gifted these to all of the women in my immediate family (different colors by same seller) at Christmas. Just six months later NONE of them are wearable, all stretched out. I know I NEVER get the one I bought for myself wet and yet it is so stretched out it falls off of my arm. My daughter got a beading kit and so has learned to reknot them. On the bright side, even thought they do seem a bit plastic-y a friend of my mother's from Poland whose husband deals in artistic amber (huge pieces) looked at hers and determined it is fairly decent quality of amber, so worth reknotting the beads. This is a lot of money for common beads just put onto a piece of elastic and I will not purchase that again. Buy loose beads and get your own knotting kit, MUCH cheaper.

My sister considers amber lucky, and with a recent birthday I added this as a small gift. I really know NOT a lot about jewelry, but it came in a nice blue bag with attractive tie and an official looking certificate. I gave it to her in a casino and she slipped it on right away. LOL - Not sure on durability, but worked for me as expected.PS - I don't think it was lucky...
