Nature's Recipe Prime Blends Dry Dog Food

My dogs love this food and I know it's good for them. I only have one issue & it's not with the brand it's with the flavor. My 4lb pup was scratching like crazy all the time. I couldn't see anything on her skin though. I read that if you feed them dog food with salmon the omega fatty acids will make that stop. I was happy to see Nature's Recipe grain-free dog food has a salmon option. Dogs loved it & my pup stopped scratching. Awesome! I still occasionally get a small bag of chicken or beef and mix in, but the majority of their food is the salmon.

Purchased this bag about 2 weeks ago, I was finishing out the other dry food I had. Today I discovered its stale, I can only assume that gray crumbled pebbles is not how they should look. Unfortunately when I tried to get a refund I was told it's not refunadable. Money lost.

The dog food is really good for my dog. She has A-typical dermatitis and is allergic to almost everything. She does very well on this food. It's just buying it makes me cough on the cost. Trust that the price between here and in store purchases run the same. So, that's not Amazon's fault at all.

My pups are picky eaters. I normally cook for them but haven’t had the time. They actually seem to enjoy eating this! I’m amazed, honestly! They won’t touch most dry dog food.

Item arrived at time and date specified. Dog loves it as for flavor. Will continue to order until dog decides she is tired of the taste.

I buy this brand mostly as it has never been recalled. Lookng at you, Hill "science" food. Anyway, my dogs seem to prefer the chicken. The chicken actually smells like chicken. This does not particularly smell like beef and my dogs were not impressed.

My dog will this food if I add something with it. I have been adding peanut butter powder to it and he likes that. Dry food is not his favorite. I alternate this food with Purina pro plan for sake of variety.
