The quality of paper they use is excellent. It allows you to use colored pencils, markers, ink, pens, watercolor, pencils, watercolor, and many more without bleeding thru. The pictures are excellent choices for you to choose a different one each time. I’ll say the quality of paper allows you to shade and add small or big details to resemble a more realistic picture. It will truly make you feel like a real artist. I personally will not buy anything but this type of color book. Yes, it is her than your average Keller in Burke at your local discount store but they do not have the quality of paper that this book has and I cannot stress that enough. If you enjoy coloring, it is well worth the money and you will feel the difference as soon as you get it.

This coloring book is BEAUTIFUL!!! I got it for my daughter for her birthday and she couldn’t stop looking through the pages. It is extremely detailed, so definitely for an older crowd - but highly recommended!!!!

This is my first coloring book with artist quality paper. I use prismacolor pencils and the colors just pop in a way that they have never done on lesser papers. I believe it will take water colors well, but have no tried that yet. While there are eighteen pages to color, there are only eight drawings; each drawing has a duplicate. I had a little trouble tearing the first page out, but that may not be a problem if you start with the first page in the book. I skipped to one of the simpler pages to begin with. There is no going back for me as far as coloring page quality after this. I also appreciate that their is no drawing on the back of the pages.

The pages are printed on a nice quality of paper to use with watercolors. No colored pages but I looked up references online to use.I recommend this for people who enjoy using watercolor paint but don't like sketching. Very fun and beautiful.

There are duplicates of each 8 designs in this, great warm up for revisiting a medium I pick up on and off over the years. I’ve been using these to develop my skills and saves time of having to draw out or trace a design to practice on. The paper is great, some designs have been able to find reference online others winging it a bit more intuitively. Very happy and am looking for other pepin products like this to keep my hands/eyes busy

This is a beautiful book. The high quality artist paper, 180 gsm, is manufactured in the Netherlands. They are famous paintings you can look up on the internet for reference. I love that the images are doubled, I can paint one for myself and gift the other one to my daughter! Very pleased to have this in my collection. Cannot wait to order the giant floral one, also by Pepin Press.

I bought this for my mother who loves to paint and create in different ways. Why an adult coloring book? Mom is often in situations where she is traveling and can't have her paints. This book has so many beautiful quality options for her to enjoy making her own. The high quality paper lends itself to anything from crayon, marker, pencils, ink, or even watercolor. There are 16 distinct still life designs. I bought her several gifts, but I know that this will be the one she oooh's and ahhh's over.

The Coloring Book arrived yesterday. It is a beautiful book but the lines are very light and if you are a Senior or you have problems with your eyes do not get this book. You have to have a magnifying glass in order to color. If I had known this I would have never bought this book. I guess if you are a real artist this might not bother you. But to me this is a majopr disappointment.

Album magnifique avec 2 dessins à chaque fois, donc 2 méthodes de coloriages différentes ! Papiers très épais, donc idéal pour poser des peintures, feutres et crayons.... même créer des collages!Par contre, dessins très petits et tout en détails...donc si coloriages au crayons et feutres, opter pour des pointes les plus fines possible.

Magnifique pour les amateurs de cahier pour aquarelle. Du vrai papier d’aquarelle, une qualité exceptionnelle. Un petit bémol, on ne voit pas toujours très bien le dessin. Trop pâle, pas toujours facile.

First time I did not read the reviews and only realized it after finishing the second page. Who wants to colour all picture twice?

Too Bad there are only 8 different Drawings in the book...in anywhere there is a mention of double copies! Pitty!

I love this book so much I re-ordered it. You need to have a very fine point on your pencils for the colour to sink into the teeth of the paper but the beauty of this book is that the outlines are feint enough that you don't see them when you have completed a section which gives a more realistic look to the finished product. In my opinion it was well worth the money.
