I ended up finding the piece that I thought was missing, so that's nice. I suppose this part is pretty good. I didn't have the best luck installing it which isn't the part makers fault. Really I'm mostly mad at Nissan for using such a cheap door handle to begin with. I can tell that the passenger handle is starting to get weird as well. I bought this car used so its completely possible that the last door handle was also a replacement part and they likely went super cheap on it, just like I'm doing and that's why it broke. It's below freezing where I live and this door handle cannot keep up with that, it just snapped like a twig, right off. so watch out for that.

Good cheaper alternative to oem prices. Its held up great for several months now and still works good, only complaint is it doesn't seat all the way when you let go and sticks out past key hole trim piece about 1/8 inch, it was installed properly and even tried adjusting and oiling but it just wont seat. but its purely cosmetic amd doesnt effect performance. I can live with this for the cheaper price than oem since it's an older high mileage vehicle.Update August 2021: handle broke in half after about a year's use. Ordered another one and install was much quicker and easier after learning from first one. This handle seated perfectly and stays flush, hope it lasts longer!

after removing all interior door panel/s and attachments for handle replacement - the technician install replacement handle properly - and reinstalled all attachments / interior panels - if the replacement that is sent to me to replace the first replacement does not work because it is incorrect someone is getting a chew out at amazon for selling inferior products - why is someone at amazon not making sure these products all are up to standard --- people have told me to stay away from amazon on replacement parts for electrical and it seems to be coming true ----I also found the sensor in the new door handle is --below par on sensitivity -- the original sensor in the oem ---I could stand two feet away push the button in the handle and the door would unlock - not on this after market one - the fob has to be six inches away from door handle to reacted - it could be the new after market handle has a 12 inch wire from sensor that snaps into door location inside door shell - other than that it could be after market can not have the same sensitivity allowed as the oem has -- this is the 3rd handle that was installed in less that 12 months - the companies that making these are not making them with any quality not to break - inferior plastics used in the production

We ended up having to remove the interior door panel and the window to get this thing installed, so it was much more of a PITA than I thought it would be, but overall this is a good part at a low price. Only reason I docked a star is that the handle often needs to be pushed closed to be flush with the key/lock section. I figure after some time and wear it will go flush on it's own so it doesn't bother me.

There is a youtube video I would recommend watching before tackling this handle replacement. Very informative about how to remove the door panel. SUGGESTION: Have a second person to assist only for holding the glass in place when you are putting the interior panel back together. Also, look at the replacement electrical connection, this will allow you to understand how the connection is released.All bolts are 10mm, so I used an electric drill, equipped it with a 3 inch extension which speeds the time immensely.Only gave 3 stars for thickness, not because of the replacement part, simply because it is a poor design from the manufacturer.

This item did not smoothly fit my door for my 2013 Nissan Rouge.It does not return to position easily after opening the door. I have to hit it with my fist for it be be flush 😳

My husband installed it and the handle broke. Have to order another one.

Works but not easy to install. The intelligent sensor has a shorter range as compared the original handle (meaning the key fob must be closer to the sensor button to operate). Not a deal breaker considering the price.
