Great for babies with Gtubes
My very active and FTT 17 month old has had a rough go of it the last few months and ended up on a G tube (after an NG and a PEG). That was great except hes a typical 17 month old and is into EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME. This is the only thing that prevents us from feeding every surface in our house. He doesn’t tolerate continuous feeds so I can’t speak to its use at night but if I had to use it at night I truly believe it would get the job done. It’s worth the price. We tired other cheaper options. This is it. Buy it. We have 3 of them because this little clamp is so essential for us. It is a bit heavy and will weigh down the feed line but that hasn’t become a problem for us…yet!

A life saver for tube feeds!
High price, but a life saver for tube feeds!!!

Very flimsy
It doesn't hold tight. If you're using a Christmas tree extension it barely fits but still allows leakage.

Harder to use with a medicine port...
But there isn't anything else. I haven't seen another variant of this (to accommodate a tube with the additional medicine port) so had to order this one. It BARELY fits. But WILL work. At first it is harder, but the silicone gives a little over time. The very thin bands to secure it are unnerving. It doesn't seem possible that they will last... but so far so good! It's also a little pricey, but we consider it the better option to leaking all over the place. Most of my moms G-Tubes have had the medicine port (which we don't need). We have only had ONE without it. I really wish there was another design to compensate for the additional port (or that they would stop installing tubes with the unneeded port!) Sigh...

Wonderful sense of security!
After several leaks and midnight cleanups, this device has restored confidence that the PEG feedings will go without a hitch. While at first, it seemed too small to fit on an adult size PEG, we managed to figure it out by placing the end with the larger lumen around the shaft of the PEG port assembly. Then, the end with the smaller lumen will fit above the feeding catheter's "Christmas Tree". The doctors, nurses and nutritionists at the hospital were fascinated and couldn't believe they had never seen anything like it.Be careful of less than ethical vendors selling this item for shameful prices! If they charge more than $20, they are taking advantage of families who find themselves needing a device like this. There is nothing wrong with a fair profit, but $50-200+? You just cannot justify that to anyone.

At first was amazing
After about a month of use the little straps broke. Really sad because it is a great invention, but now I'm out $40 and a broken clamp

Clamp Device
Best used to keep peg tube and drip food connectors from slipping apart.
