I don't have anything to really compare this to as it's the first hammock I've ever bought, but I can give you a perspective as a mom with two littles, after owning this for about a month.My primary concern was finding a hammock that wouldn't tip easily (anyone else remember being a kid, hanging on for dear life, upsidedown, on a rope hammock?), was big enough for my family of 4 to fit, cute and durable. I bought the MallowMe XL Straps and wrapped it around our towering oak trees. It makes putting it up and taking it down so easy. It's still my new baby so I take it down when rain is in the forecast... Except for tonight. We forgot and it was already thunderstorming by the time we remembered..ce la vie!My 1 and 3 year old can climb in and out of it pretty easily and they love it. They move and squirm around in there and they have never come close to spilling out. My 1 year old even took a 90 minute nap in it the other weekend.Who could blame him! The fact that they are so entertained with it makes it worth the cost. And this hammock is huge! It easily fits our family and if the kids are in there solo, it drapes over them creating a cocoon that they just love. When we/parents join in, they get so excited and shout "hammock tiiimeeee." I know they won't always want to be snuggled up with mom and dad, but I'll always be able to cherish "hammock time" memories with them.I have no doubt this will last a long time. Everything is about it feels like quality. It was the perfect addition to our backyard and let's us enjoy the outdoors in a new way.

I am a daily hammock sleeper. Replaced my bed with a Brazilian hammock a year ago and have been loving it. I have always wanted a la siesta so I finally bought one. Let me tell you... THIS HAMMOCK IS AMAZING! The organic cotton feels amazing, it's soft yet the weave is tight and sturdy. I'm 6'2 and 250 lbs and this thing is HUGE. I threw my under quilt on it and took a nap as soon as I got it. Fell asleep before I even knew it. Meant to take a hour nap... Woke up hours later. Been 2 nights so far and it's the best damn sleep I've had in years. You will NOT regret this purchase. If your buying for a sleeper I'd deff suggest this one for the taller folks out there. Just remember to lay diagonally across the long axis for a flat lay!

I have had some opportunities to sleep in hammocks in the past; mostly camping. I expected this product to provide a similar experience. It does not. I suppose the primary reason for the difference is that hammocks intended specifically for hiking and camping use are also designed to be as lightweight as possible. This hammock is too bulky and heavy to take backpacking, which makes me a bit sad because it is so comfortable. My reason for purchasing this one was to use it as a replacement for my bed and, so far, I consider it a fantastic success.

I've been sleeping in this hammock in my bedroom every night for the last four months. It is AMAZING for this. Really great material, great hang, needs 13 feet of space, and my walls are 13 feet apart, so it's perfect. I have it mounted using climbing hooks. I LOVE IT and I'm going to buy a second one because it's so great. I haven't even had to wash it yet because it's breathable organic cotton. There isn't really a calf ridge line with it, as long as you hang it properly. I used the popular hammock hang calculator searchable on the web.I recommend not using heavy blankets or pillows in a hammock - I recommend getting a twin sized down comforter to use in it, which is warm, cozy, and light weight. Also, a down pillow or memory foam pillow you can remove material from is good - you don't need or want a full sized pillow in a hammock. The Flora distributes weight very, very well. Perfect! Can't recommend this hammock enough for full-timers. I'll probably also buy the smaller Carolina to see how I like it (and as a backup), but the Flora is super majestic at its size. I plan to sleep in it for years to come.

So my original hammock (that i brought from a trip to Colombia 8 years ago) was finally showing a little tear (I leave hanging year round in Miami sun/rain, so a little abusive) and I’ve been searching for almost 4 years for a replacement. I’ve easily returned or thrown away 6+ other hammocks. This was my last attempt before hopping on a plane back to Colombia for a new one… well THIS IS IT!!!! I know it’s not cheap, but nothing about it is cheaply made! Perfect thickness, it’s HUGE (i climb in w a teen, husband, and Obv alone, and we’re a giant family. Like 5’9” to 6’4” each, no one is tiny here) and so perfect in every way! Thank you thank you thank you for selling the real deal!!

I do not like how the material stretched and the item did not fit my hammock furniture. Reached to company 2x and never heard back so that I can return item.

I like that the fabric is soft natural cotton and strong, it can hold up to 440 lbs. Plenty of room for two adults. I use mine in the Coastal Mountains, I like to put in a pad to lay on (bench, lounge) it is more comfortable and keeps you warm in cooler weather. ( In cool weather you can get a little chilled and the insulation from the pad keeps you warm, but even in warm weather you wont get hot from the pad.

King sized is no joke. I am 6 foot 2 and can totally sprawl out in this thing. Make sure you have enough room to hang this mammoth of a hammock.

Durable fabric and very thick. Large enough for a family of 4 to fit easily. Would definitely recommend!

Die Hängematte ist ein Traum. Sie hat eine super Qualität. Wir hatten schon zwei günstige Hängematten bei uns im Wohnzimmer und haben uns nun eine Familienhängematte von La Siesta gegönnt. Die Hängematte hält das Gewicht von zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder locker aus und ist auch zu viert sehr bequem. In dieser Hängematte toben die Kinder und wir alle lieben es darin zu kuscheln. Dies war wahrscheinlich die beste Investition, die wir im Lockdown getätigt haben. Ich würde die Hängematte jederzeit wieder bestellen und kann sie sehr empfehlen.
