LIVE TARGETPopper Frog Hollow Body Swimbait

Ok so I’ve bought probably 10 different brand frogs the last few months. Trying to find that perfect walker. And this one is so far the best one. Easy for me and I just started really getting into frogs. I went through 3 today alone. And once I saw this pop frog walk. It stayed tied on. Got three and missed a few( didn’t adjust the hooks yet) in the last hour. So far it’s a winner. I still have a lot to go through. Hopefully I find a equal or better. But better would almost have to fish itself. Lol. A little pricey but still looks good after all those strikes.

Bass and Northern Pike love this frog as it "hops" over the Lili pads. During a recent drought while using this frog, I had a crazy experience! The larger bull frogs and leopard frogs tried to cannibalize this lure. Not just one or two. Dozens simultaneously came from the shoreline into the water to take turns at trying to eat it. I found just how difficult it is to hook a frog! Highly recommend this lure for its unbelievable authenticity and ability to attract the "big ones".

Too expensive for what it is. It does have great detail, but that's about it. Seen someone else commented on here about how it looks so real it fools other frogs. Big deal! I fish frogs all the time (when it's the right season). I have frogs, and snakes chase anything that is on top of the water. Even texas rigged worms, brush hogs, crawbugs, whatever, as they're being drug across the top of weeds. Over the summer one of my go to baits, 2-1/2" Yum finesse crawbug, was impossible to get anywhere, so I was trimming the Ozark Trail hammer hog to make them more resemble the bug, and I was killing the bass on them. Had a snake latch onto one as I was retrieving it on top of some weeds. So, the detail is not even important. It's the commotion and movement they go after. In fact my top performing frogs are completely lacking any detail what so ever. All they have is a basic frog shape. They are chased all the time by frogs, and snakes. I paid $12 for 4. The materials aren't as good as the Live Target frog's, but the hooks are better positioned to catch fish, and they are heavy gauged quality hooks. I hook nearly every fish that hits these. In the short time I had this Live Target frog on I missed several fish because of the position of the hooks. Just can't justify the price of these frogs.
