SPANTRON GIVES BACKWe spend our time developing products that bring comfort and a higher quality of life to our customers. We think all people should have some of the basic, common comforts and health necessities that we enjoy. So Spantron has committed to giving back a portion of revenue to help those who are most in needWHO DO WE HELP?In Ghanaian villages, many people don't have power or elementary needs/supplies. We donate to non-profits who drill water wells, provide sanitary kits for girls, and provide light to villages in rural school villages. Your purchase literally saves lives!MOBILEAIR BY SPANTRONWe have perfected the functional portable A/C unit. Our customers use these at work- similar to an indoor space heater, but also can unplug and take their cold air with them wherever they go. In order to fully charge the battery it must be installed in the unit correctly and the cord must be plugged into a wall plug and not into the USB port of a computer. Other uses have been to cool pets (dogs and cats) at night or next to their children's beds. This unit is really a personal space cooler and is not meant to be a room conditioner.WATER WARNINGThere is an open reservoir of water in the base of the cube. The filter soaks up water from this reservoir and makes the air cold surrounding the filters. Once the tank is full, please be careful not to tip or turn over the cooler because the water can be splashed out of the bottom tank where the filter contacts with the water. Keep in mind that the cooler doesn't leak unless the user tips it over while the reservoir contains water. So be careful to ensure no water escapes when moving a full unit.

A LOT of COOL in a little package
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome little device! It is small, light, and produces a surprisingly cool stream of air. It's perfect for me when I work in my upstairs home office, which can get a little toasty during the summer afternoons (because I'm stubborn with turning on the central air). So far it has been very simple to operate--just add water. The essential oils diffuser is a nice touch too.

Great Portable Air Conditioner
We've been using this portable air conditioner for 3 nights now and are loving it. We mostly use it for the fan/AC, but it hasn't other functionality too. The one thing that was tricky for me to figure out was where to plug it into the unit. The USB cable has a slot in the back of the unit on the black fins, which was hard for me to see. Once I found that, everything was very straight forward. I took a pic of it so you can see in case your eyes are as bad as mine;-) Great unit, especially for the price. Highly recommended.

Good to cool one person
Pro: Effectively blows cool air at a distance of 3-4 feet away. Small, compact, easy to set up and use.Con: Easy to spill water if moved while filled, can be noisy if used in a quiet room, air flow from fan is in a narrow area.Good if used as small portable cooler or fan to cool one person. Not effective for multiple people or for cooling entire room.

Works better than I thought!
Works surprisingly well for such a small unit. My bedroom heats up like a furnace so this helps. Doesn't cool the entire room. Just if it's literally 6 inches from my bed. So it definitely helps to cool me off. Took me forever to locate the USB connection but finally found it and keep it connected while using it so I don't know how long the battery it comes with lasts. All in all, I do recommend this especially for the price.

Works like a charm
I haven't used all the settings yet, but the most important one is the fan/air conditioner. I am using it right now and it feels amazing. It's so much cooler than a fan! I'm always a little warm and Arizona summers are the worst. Where has this thing been all my life!

Adss scent to your air
Cool little fan (pun intended). Does cool very well for its size. Looks appealing with the led lights changing colors. Using it with oils is awesome if you trying to cool down with different aromas. Pretty quiet enough i find extremely important because I'm a light sleeper.

HOT MESS OF A MACHINE
EDIT: 11.2019 AFTER COMPLAINING TO THE SELLER THEY WERE MORE THEN WILLING TO WORK WITH ME, THEY REFUNDED ME IN FULL AND STILL WANTED PICTURES AND A FULL DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WHAT HAPPENED IN ORDER TO HELP PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE. THEY MADE ME FEEL SAFE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE IF I HADN'T ALREADY GOTTEN ONE FROM MY DAUGHTER THAT IS A DIFFERENT BRAND AND STYLED ONE.I thought I'd wrote a review before on this and said how much I loved it since it was working so great for the first week. I emailed the company shortly after to tell them that the front shutters broke & then that I had tried using the diffuser but was unable to get the top open easily and when it finally opened it was this gross sticky glue-like substance that had been leaking out of the diffuser. When you turn on the machine everything is one. So every time you turn it on you have to press the lights button three times or more to get that off & I assume the same for the diffuser because there is not light for that. I have enclosed the pictures of the substance that oozed from the machine. I really worked great for a short time & then it just was a hot mess. I'm very disappointed & frustrated. EDIT: I am adding to this review and made it one star after discovering that after the diffuser was leaking the sticky glue-like substance it started to smell. I just panicked as I do after having a house fire long ago, I shut it off unplugged it and put it up. After a couple of days, I went to move it and remembered why it was where it was and thought I'd look at it to see if I could see what was making it smell like it was burning. Once I tried to open it, it stuck together pretty good but eventually, I was able to pry it open to find that the entire bottom of the diffuser plastic casing was melted and had I not turned it off when I did I might have had a fire myself w/this. The latest pictures are of the diffuser box and we removed it to see that it was burning into the part that I assume is a small battery for it IDK. But this is scary and I am upset to not hear anything else on this w/the seller. updated 08/04//2019 (not but a couple weeks of usage)

Still working great after a year
11 Months later:I've been using this for 11 months and had a issue. The water for some reason would not drop into the primer area. I spoke to the seller who IMMEDIATELY sent me a new unit. CAN'T ASK FOR BETTER SERVICE!! I also looked at the mechanism and Chad gave me a hint about how it works. There is a Styrofoam connector on the plastic water release arm. For some reason it way stuck to the bottom. I gently pried it loose, added some water in the primer area and it's working fine again. The trick to cooler air is to remove the black plastic guide over the reservoir and add ice cubes; my cubes are shaped so they fit, then add water. This makes the air exchange cooler simply because colder water is sucked into the filter. I would still give this unit 5 stars.I've had it running for 1 day continuous on high.- Follow the directions. I charged it over night and have left it plugged in.- It's smaller than you would think but is working well.- I'm running it on high continuous for 8 hours and it has gone through about 5 wells of water after I primed the filter.- I had a bit of moisture when I first started it up on the tank side but that quickly went away.- You definitely want to keep it on a flat surface.- It works MUCH better putting ice cubes in the well. I have an ice maker which allows small cubes that fit through the opening. You can definitely feel the difference using ice water with cubes if possible.I'll be using it full days Mon-Fri and if I have any issues I'll post them.- Day 2I've been adding crushed ice to the well which works well for cooling the air. I discovered that the black piece of plastic which sits over the well can be lifted out giving extra room to add ice then replaced .
