Great for making homemade soy yogurt
Used it for making homemade soy yogurt with excellent results. Definitely has that great pure soy taste rather than having an altered taste from additives like a lot of the store bought soy milk has. However, even with boiling the water and soya powder together, my final product was still a bit powdery and not silky smooth. The powderiness is minor and too bad. Definitely better than not having access to pure soymilk at all because of where I am living. The price is fair considering how much soy milk you can make with one canister.

Wholesome
I like that there is minimal processing. I add it to smoothies. I would not drink it plain.

For soymilk purists, or just those that like to make tofu from scratch.
This is a great product for those of us that connot find pure soy milk to make tofu with, even ones that claim to be "pure" have at least 5 to 7 ingredients in them. The stuff from the store in the tetrapacks has everything from sugar & vanilla to thickeners (xanthan gum, carrageenan, etc), & rice syrup in them, needless to say that makes some nasty tofu! The best method is to just make the soymilk yourself, I just take this add it to my filtered tap water, blend in blender for a few minutes, then let sit for about 3-4 hours. Next you get it on the stove on a low heat or preferably in a double boiler (this will scorch & FAST!), cook it for about 20 minutes, let it cool then run through fine mesh cheese cloth. You now have nice fresh & pure soymilk for your needs.

Its a good product at a fair price.
Its a good product at a fair price. However, understanding the expiration stamp is not so obvious.I received the following from Fearn regarding how to read the expiration date stamped on thebottom of the Soya Powder tin. Fearn Soya Powder is coded with a packaging date, which is read as follows: 15A06. The first two numbers "15" stand for the year 20(15) and the "A" stands for the month (January). "A" is the first letter of the alphabet, which stands for the first month of the year, or January. The last two numbers "06" stand for the day of the month. Therefore, the code 15A06 stands for January 6, 2015 and represents the date of packaging. Fearn Soya Powder has a shelf life of two years unopened and approximately six to nine months after opening if stored in a cool dry place.

Disappointing
I wanted a non dairy option to mix my own powdered hot chocolate or carob drink. This stuff doesn't dissolve in hot water as I expected nor does it mix well with just a little non dairy creamer to dissolve it with chocolate and make into a paste. I won't be using it in hot chocolate but I might be able to bake with it. Real disappointment.

The verdict on using this as coffee creamer....
I haven't used this for baking. I bought it with the hope I could use it in my coffee. I mixed it according to the directions. The immediate thing I noticed was the color. It is darker than most of the liquid soy milk you find in the grocery (see photo). It has a nutty flavor, which I found pleasant. It is plain with no detectable sweetness. I like that it doesn't have fillers or soy protein isolate added, but am not sure I would want to drink 8 ounces of it. I think it is safe to say this is an excellent choice when you want to avoid using dairy in baking recipes. Unfortunately it doesn't work in coffee as I had hoped. It is gritty and breaks in hot liquid (see photo)..and didn't mellow the coffee bitterness.
