KalaKA-15 Soprano Ukulele Bundle - Natural Mahogany

I bought this for my nephew who is in a band, and he absolutely loves it. It is durable, has a great sound and is for both beginners and professionals.

The ukulele itself is great. Nice tone. I've been excited to see how quickly I can learn tunes on this. (I recommend the YouTube series 30 day ukulele challenge by Bernadette.) I learned that I didn't need the tuner - I just use the Kala app to tune. And the strap is really big. When I tighten it to be the smallest it can be it's about an inch too long for me (I'm 5'4 and 130 pounds, so not a tiny person.)

After reading a review of inexpensive, beginner ukeleles in which the KA-15S got the top review of ten, I ordered a KA-15S bundle. The delivery was very prompt, and the ukelele was well packed and intact. The tone is very good, and the instrument is nicely playable, but I wonder if the bundle uke is a less quality sub-model than one purchased alone, since the label inside says "KA-15S Bundle." The craftsmanship is not up to the standard I expected from the review. The heel of the neck is not flush with the body of the uke. The edge of the bottom piece of the body sticks out. (see photo) Otherwise, the uke, while not perfect, is good for a cheap, beginning instrument made in China. Because sound is more important to me than looks, I am more or less satisfied, if not completely happy with the quality of craftsmanship.

very beautiful! the fingerboard is darker than in pictures but i originally wanted the darker color so this is ok with me. remember that ukulele strings take a while to break in and hold their tune. overall i'm pleased and excited to learn!

This is a decent starting ukulele. It is pretty well made, has a decent carry bag, and with just four strings, an easy learn for child or adult.

Great product. Easy to use tuner. Needed to tune the ukulele frequently in the beginning, but that was expected. After several days, stays tuned for the most part. Sounds great!

Great for beginners and practice is easy on the ears.
