DOMETIC 3108706.27 Eaton Water Valve Kit

Worked great as a direct replacement for a faulty one on my 2001 National Tropical motorhome. All the required brackets were pre-attached for easy replacement and is an easy job for any handy person to be able to replace.

Water Valve fit perfectly. Arrived earlier than expected. Ice maker works again. I now have ice again.!

The item came quickly, I only needed the blue solenoid but came with a bag of wiring? Heat sensor etc. I received it on or around Oct 12th. It looked easy enough to plug in but then I realized the water line to refrigerator was not there so I had to contact a RV Dometic Tech. This took 3 weeks to get appointment.Tech came, installed solenoid and installed a water line to back of refrigerator. Discovered that the turnoff water valve leaked so that meant another appointment for tech to get New valve and return which happened today December 4th. Upon completion of install discovered the solenoid doesn’t come on and off as it should, just stays on overfilling the ice maker. Tech says solenoid is defective, so I contacted Amazon/Sun City RV and am told I am past the return time. So the problem is if you are a female and have to rely on getting in line for the very few RV repair services and you are unlucky enough to get a defective part.,,,,, then you are out $130.00!!

Item was exact replacement and worked excellent.

Purchased to replace a cracked solenoid valve body. I apparently didn't winterize this little guy last year and the residual water that was left in it froze and cracked the plastic body. It was pretty easy to install. I can't remember if there were any instructions or not, I think there was but they were vague at most. Anyway I didn't use them, I'm a guy. Installed, no leaks, good to go.

Had this for several weeks now. Replaced non-working unit. My RV is a 2001 model but this was almost exactly the same, making installation a breeze.

Beware! Installed valve easily and ice maker worked great. 6 weeks later the valve stopped working. Seller said it was after return date and said we needed to contact Dometic Eaton but gave no contact details. Also note under specific, warranty is stated but no time limits provided.
