In short its a lite windows macbook just add a 4gb ram and an NVMe SSDbut can only be used forbrowsingwatching contentnote taking for studentlight tasksjust don't play games on it(for games build a PC its much cheaper and better than any laptop)Its as the best built quality laptop u can find below 30k, period. u r getting 50k+ quality with lower performance.Pros1. Built quality2. nice quality keyboard(NOT Backlit, i didn't know before buying)3.large trackpad(best for windows gestures)4.screen quality is way better than anything in this price range.cons1.battery life(5 hours average)2. poor performance out of the box3. shud hav been shipped with ssd out of the boxbut there are some fixable problems that u have to fix before starting using it, if u r up to it.1st time i turned it on, it was a nightmare, it was so slow n sluggish, 100% disk usage all the time.I thought i made a mistake, but i knew the processor is equivalent to i3 8th gen.i did some research, here are the things i did to make it more usable1. uninstalled all the bloatware(useless pre installed software n apps)2. disabled cortana, windows search and superfetch(solved 100% disk usage)updated--------note: this voids the warrantyadded a 4GB Ram to the single empty slow, 8 GB is more than enuf, more than 8 wud be an overkillthen a NVMe 128GB SSD to empty M.2 slot n move the OS to SSD for speedier boot and prog launch times.everything is snappier1. boot times decreased to 10-20 secs2. everything opens up quickly(browsers opening in 2secs n ready to go)3. almost no disk usage now4. now more ram to spare for opening multiple windows without reloadingmy recommendation-------u shud know what u r gettingIf u want best experience out of the box and since not everyone is a tech nerd, you shud buy a laptop with SSD even its a Pentium it will give much better performance, NOT this one.

The machine looks great, specification are also not bad fr the price range though I would prefer 8gb ram n SSD as hardware upgrade.Nothing much comes with the box piece charger and laptop. Packing is ok okDilivery by Amazon was good.The laptop i got is a defective piece as the harddrive is making krrrr sound, tht comes only wen the harddrive is corrupted. I tried explaining my point it the cs executive but he was unable to understand now i am waiting fr a technician to pay a visit to my laptop then he will decide if it bees replacement,.No return on this item so go fr it if u don't plan to return.. No return policy was a shocker to me.

Display not aligned correctly with frame. Really disappointed. Gonna replace it. Otherwise performance + build quality are awesome.edited(review after 3 months)yesterday I faced a problem. The display suddenly corrupted and distorted at the bottom screen. it is distorted from the startup screen itself. I couldn't contact amazon and seller. so I contacted Acer support. But they literally don't care my emails and phone calls, they just said We cant aid this you have to repair with your own expenses. I'm totally frustrated and dissapointed with acer's after sales customer support. Dont go for this kind of scrap product.note: I already replaced this laptop for the same display related issue. Acer's Warranty is just like nothing they fool their customers with this laptop like material.

Processor is very slow...hard drive makes sound like Krrrr frequently also the big shock in this switch key is oly not working..there is issue in key board ..otherwise look wise its good and its a metal body and so looks good.....overall not satisfied... but i gave two star because amazon helped me with return this machin. There is no return policy with this laptop which is really bad. It wasn't clearly mentioned anywhere when i purchased it. The built quality is good however the software is bad. The computer lags even when there is not much data on the laptop. Its not good even for basic use. My suggestion is to definitely look for some other laptop.I feel the initial few comments which claims that this product is too good is fake as not even 50 % of it is true in my case.Soon Amazon technician is coming to check this laptop. But I clearly want to return this model and buy another laptop.

Great display, strong body, nice finish, very sleek... Lags Everytime, very slow, week performance.. may be an SSD would be better.. very disappointed with performance... Satisfied with rest all..U can try adding an m.2 SSD(supports only nvme). And upgrade RAM. That should actually help

It's one of the biggest cons on Amazon. There is a no return policy. Battery doesn't last as promised. Performance is poor. The only thing promised that is true is the weight, everything else horrible. This is my second Acer product. Had a great experience on the first one. Acer really sucks. Big let down. Never buying anything Acer again.
