Stoger Organic Seed Oil, Pumpkin, 3.38 Ounce

Was looking for a good pumpkin seed oil after I tasted the real stuff in Austria. After trying some cheap but not good ones I finally realized i'm ready to pay a little bit more. Ordered 2 varieties - Stoger and well known brand in orange bottle. Stoger is the best! Flavor is rich (I thought I was ordering untoasted, but turned out it's from toasted seeds - probably makes flavor even more pronounced), it's clean on a palate (unlike that oil in orange bottle - that has weird creamy texture. All oils are creamy to the point, of course, but if you tried - doesn't matter which one, there are plenty of olive oils with that texture, you tend to prefer one over the other. And I don't like creamy oils). So I was pouring this over toasts, over omelets, over burrata and mozzarella and leafy salads as it is, not making any fancy dressing although I should try it next. Can't get enough :) Definitely will be buying again. Very lucky I decided to try this variety, and very disappointed with that orange bottle oil - it's huge and I don't particularly like it. This small bottle is perfect if it's your first time, and also because such specialty oils tend not to get used often, and you definitely don't want them to sit on a shelf a lot. With this one it won't be a problem for me (almost done), but now eyeing other Stoger specialty oils.

Bottle is so small!!! Wish they sold kernöl in bigger sizes. Perfect size if you are trying this oil for the first time to see if you like it. It's good on vanilla ice cream as well!

I make my own beauty products so I have a huge collection of oils. This is the first time I try pumpkin oil and I must say I'm very impressed. This oil has a dark tint to it that gives my skin a certain radiance without darkening my complexion (I'm very pale and was a little concern at first but my skin drinks this stuff like water, and it doesn't make my skin oily or orangey). It also smells delicious! I liked it so much that I'm buying another bottle for cooking. Pumpkin oil is very healthy so since it tastes so good I decided to add it to my dishes. This oil is very beneficial to the skin; it helps in the production of collagen, its anti-inflammatory and contains vitamin C, E and A along with zinc and magnesium and I'm sure it has many other benefits I haven't research yet. I learned about it through an artisanal soap maker who has a very exclusive line of pumpkin soaps and I'm so very grateful I decided to buy the oil instead of spending $30 on a fancy soap bar. I compare the smell of this to macadamia oil but I'm afraid there's no oils I can use to describe absorbency, It absorbs better than coconut oil for sure. It's still a carrier oil so do not expect it to absorb as tea tree oil or any other essential oils.

Tasty, tasty, tasty, tasty. Love it with pumpkin soup. It just gives this little extra flavor to the whole thing.

LOVE IT... super smoky, rich, and nutty. Tastes delicious but not overbearing.
