We used this to travel from Houston,TX to Atlanta, GA. We were driving a Yukon XL so it fit nicely on top. I put it up on the car myself (37/female). It was fairly easy. I mean considering what it is you are actually doing it was easy. It held 2 large very full extended suitcases, one medium full extended suitcase, two small full extended suitcases. I checked it periodically throughout the trip never had to retighten it. It was actually surprisingly quiet, I almost forgot it was up there. I mostly drove interstate at 60-75mph occasionally without purpose hit 80 a few times. I was trying to keep it slower with the heavy load on top of my vehicle. I will say it seemed to do great even going at those speeds. There is Velcro at the ends of the straps to put them in place so they don’t flap around and they worked wonderfully. Fortunately for us but not for the review we didn’t hit any rain so I can’t review on how waterproof it was. I will say it felt like it would be very resistant to water and I felt confident when heading out on our trip it would work in the rain. Luckily we had clear skies the entire time. It didn’t scratch my car it didn’t slide around, I did pull the straps incredibly tight so I’m sure that helped. It was very easy to unload and repack back in its storage bag. I honestly highly recommend this car top carrier. It work perfect for us and held way more stuff than I ever expected it would!

I had to move from upstate New York to Texas with my boyfriend with only a Prius so when I say this overhead storage was essential I mean it! I did pack everything that I didn't want to get wet in garbage bags just to add a little extra water proofing but everything seemed dry when I took it out. The door hooks are super easy to use and work great. The straps are a little tough to tighten but definitely doable with a little elbow grease. Lots of space and very straightforward to use. The little lock it comes with is a nice touch for mild security (although it is a cloth bag so I don't know how much of a difference it really makes lol). I'm really really glad I made this purchase.

I purchased this product and took it on a weekend trip in some pretty cold weather. The durability is great. It is pretty weatherproof. It truly is a great option with just a couple of Caveats:1. For a big SUV, it is probably best to fill it up first and then put on the roof. You will need at least 2-4 people, depending on the weight, to get the back up there. (It is best without the crossbars on a roof rack!2. I returned one because I could not get one of the small clips out. I was told by my son he thinks it was because it was put in upside down. (I got it out with pliers, so you may want to carry a pair with you just in case.I think in a smaller SUV, where you can reach the roof pretty easily, this is an awesome option! I am looking for creative ideas for ways to lift it up to the top of my large SUV for now, like a piece of plywood underneath the bag with the anti-slip pad nailed to it. If anyone has ideas please share.

while already away from home, our vacation plans changed like overnight, so i had to racked my brain to see how we could accommodate my sister who would be joining in with us, midstream, in an already crowded small suv-i knew we needed some type of rooftop accessory to fill this need, but i hadn't had any knowledge of this type of thing-i had but a few minutes to find something-i thought, should i go store to store in a town i wasn't familiar with or check with amazon since i recently became an amazon prime customer and heard that you can sometimes get items the next day...although, i must admit that i was quite skeptical that i'd actually get it then-after i input all my search criteria, this particular LED kingdomus bag returned from the search-i must also admit, i did not want to pay that much for a cargo bag ($129.00), while also being returned from the search, you see cargo bags as cheap as 30 and 40 bucks-i really didn't have the time to read the reviews of all the cargo bags, but i came close and narrowed it down to like 3 bags-the price of the LED kingdomus cargo bag was still bothering me, but i discussed it with my husband (a bit of a penny pincher) and mother (who couldn't care less what the price was), and surprisingly, they both stated to go with this bag-i put my 2 cents in and said "you get what you pay for" so i added it to my cart and hit buyalthough it states the size of the cargo bag is 19 cft...i really had no idea how large it was even after trying to find another physical object that size-when the package arrived, i opened it immediately to see if what i ordered was what i was expecting and that it would indeed handle our increased load-well it was that and then some-the box was a bit heavy and when i unfolded the cargo bag...i could see why...it was made very well with heavy duty and thick type material and the zippers were not cheesy and chintzy which was tucked under a durable flap which surrounded the bag-the straps were long enough to accommodate whatever size load that would be contained in the cargo bagi wasn't sure if the straps were enough to hold the full cargo bag on the car's roof rack, so i also purchased which i probably didn't need to do, some military spec cord, since i wasn't sure what type of weather we'd be encountering (fierce rains, heavy winds, etc), so i thought i'd rather be more safe than sorrythis purchase included a protective mat to place between the cargo bag and the roof-i did wash and dry the top of the roof prior to installing the mat and bag-it did take my sister and i a minute to secure the bag...that i am sure is only because i was being extra careful because it was a rental car and i wasn't sure exactly how i wanted to secure it to the side roof rack railsi like that fact that this LED kingdomus rooftop cargo carrier bag can be used with or without a roof rack or in the bed of a truck-all of the necessary hooks and straps for whichever use option you choose was contained in the boxi ended up storing 3 medium sized luggage, a duffle bag and some other oddly shapely items and had extra room to spare-we did encounter very heavy rains and forceful winds on our trip but when we got to our destination, i checked out the bag for fraying and saw no signs of it-when i opened the cargo bag, all of our items were dryi doubt if i can fold this bag as small as was shipped to me, but i'm sure i can get it to fit in the storage bag with little straini must say, i'm very pleased with my purchase-overall this LED kingdomus rooftop 19 cft 600d oxford pvc coating waterproof soft shell cargo bag, proved to be a great addition to our trip-this cargo bag held up to over a 2000 mile trip on the interstate, highways and country roads-you will not be disappointed if you purchase this cargo bag…i believe this LED kingdomus cargo bag will last for many years to come

I got this for a road trip from San Diego to Utah (about 10 hours) for on top of a Jeep and it worked great. Held a TON of stuff and I like that it's flexible so you can arrange things to fit easily. There's no way we could have brought everything we needed for camping without this. We didn't encounter much rain so I can't comment on that. One strap broke while setting up but that may have been our fault.

Impressive, durability and water resistance. I drove through pounding rain, sleet, hail, snow over 2000 miles. I just cracked it open for the first time since I left 3 weeks ago and everything was dry as a bone. I thank my friend Zan for her excellent packing skills that took advantage of all the space this carrier offers. This is an incredible value.
