Beautiful leather holster
I own three cardini leather holsters and they are absolutely phenomenal the craftsmanship is excellent the fit is great super comfortable to wear I have never been a fan of kydex however now that I've stumbled upon the cardini leather holsters I don't think I'm going to go with anything else they are reasonably priced unlike galco which also makes good holsters but they are very expensive almost twice the price for the price point you can't beat a cardini holster

Holds pistol firmly
Well crafted, tight as usual for leather. Fits IWB in any position.

Outstanding Holster
I purchased this for my Ruger LCRx. The leather is of medium thickness and of good quality. The stitching is neat and without flaw and the clip is very sturdy. The clip is attached to the holster via another piece of leather sewn to the outside so as to keep the clip away from the firearm. The holster is very snug when you first use it, but it is easily stretched out. Some put a plastic bag, or wax paper around the firearm and insert it and leave it for 24 hours to get a bit of a stretch. If that doesn't do the trick, you can use a sock. Since this for inside the waist band carry anyway, I know my belt will be providing retention as well, so I wanted to loosen the holster up quite a bit. I used a sock (medium thickness, not a dress sock and not a wool sock) and left it over night in the holster...now it fits perfectly.

Good low cost option
This is an excellent IWB holster for the LCR. I carry my LCRX in this when I'm not using it as a back up in ankle rig. It has excellent retention and fits perfectly. The clip is a tough steel and keeps the gun and holster where it should be. It is easy to get on and off when you want to. The stitching is good, and the finish is decent. It is not the best, but not the worst. It has an open muzzle and nylon lining, both of which I don't like in a holster, but for the price it is a minor issue. I also don't like that the leather is fairly thin and has no reinforcement around the mouth, which means re-holstering will be a bit of a chore. But again, it wears a fairly low price tag for a leather holster, and beats the el-cheapo nylon holsters any day. Long story short, it is a good holster at a decent price.

Everything I was hoping for
With a drawer full of failed holsters, I went in with my fingers crossed that this was what I was hoping for. I wouldn't say it exceeded my expectations, but it has certainly fullilled evryone of them. Holster is well made, very durable, and comfortable. I carry in the small of my back, so leather can feel pretty bulky. This one is slightly longer so the gun sits deeper. Feels great, and I feel it is more secure for the pistol not falling out. The retension clip is strong and appears durable. Pulling the pistol has no snags as some have stated. Goes back in with ease. Do not hesitate on this purchase

Perfect fit for my LCR .357
Finding the right fit for an LCR can be tricky as they don't properly fit holsters designed around S&W J-frame's, but this one gets it right. A little snug at first but that's what you want so the leather will mold around the contours and provide the proper degree of retention.

OK ,leather holster in it's price range. But...
The very tight sharp edged clip will destroy a regular leather dress belt very fast. The holster is difficult to put on and off due to the tight clip. I also found this holster to be very uncomfortable, especially when sitting. I am 6.0 feet tall/190 lbs ,size 42 waist, and 15 lbs overweight, my relatively slight "love handles" really take a bruising when I sit down with this holster. On positive note my Ruger LCR fits snugly, and is easy to un-holster and re-holster. The price is OK,although the leather is not of the best quality. The stitching is very good. I eventually bought a FALCO holster after I wore the Cardini holster for awhile, custom made in the Czech Republic. That holster is twice the price of the Cardini ,however it is a superior product in design and comfort. The Cardini holster is a good deal at the price. I suppose if I lost 20lbs, it would be less uncomfortable to wear!
