Fisherman's Friend Original Extra Strong Lozenges, Menthol, 40 Count (Pack of 12)

It is good product, I am using it for years . I am satisfy with the results.

I have been using these for over 20 years and they work . If you live up north where you can catch a cold , by all means read what I have to say .When you sneeze and get a cold shiver up your spine , take one of these throat lozenge's right away your body is telling you that you have a cold germ trying to taken hold in your throat . The fishermans friend will kill the invading germs right away so you will not get a cold . If you do not take one and you do come down with a cold . Take them as need to get rid of the sore throat . This is not bullshit . I have not had a cold in over 20 years and I am 77 years old and know I live in Florida where I can catch a cold from snow birds that bring the germs down here . THEY WORK I have turned a lot of people onto these and they love them . If you do not try them , that is your mistake .They are not candy and where made to kill germs. Once you get use to them , you will be fine .

I love these lozenges! They are amazing at stopping my coughing and opening up my throat and sinuses. They're also great at freshening breath. I pop two in and whooosh!, in a matter of seconds, I can feel my sinuses and throat opening up. Nothing else I've tried comes even close to the relief I get from these lozenges.

I have been a huge fan of these for years, they have TWICE and much menthol as the 2nd strongest brand. Some people can't handle them, but for me nothing works better. When I'm feeling really terrible, I drop 3 or 4 of them into a big cup of hot tea with some honey and rum. Cures me right up. They used to come in a neat little tin, very sad they stopped.

I found Fisherman's Friend lozenges to be more effective than the typical "sugar candy" cough drops. I like that they have by far more active cough suppressants and less sugar (you should avoid constantly bathing your teeth with sugar!). To economize, I use a butcher knife to divide the lozenges in halves or thirds (they are very hard, and brittle).

It takes a little bit of time to get use to the strong menthol taste. Having said that, it is the ONLY cough drop for me!It helps me so much as I have a chronic cough and this seems to be the only thing that helps.

Fisherman's friend has met my throat-clearing and occasional cough-elimination needs for years; but its packaging was terrible. Now, with the new packaging it is just about perfect.I was once seated next to a Pakistani merchant on a long flight to the US. The poor man had a bad cough and, try as he might, he couldn't control it. So I gave him my package of Fisherman's Friend, which quickly did the trick. As we were preparing to leave the plane, he leaned over and said to me "You saved my life." Probably not but it sure made him and our fellow passengers happier.

These cough drops have menthol and eucalyptus which is perfect for colds and sore throats and congestion. We don't use any other kind of cough drop. The packaging is minimal but not recyclable. I look forward to zero waste packaging becoming available as soon as possible.
