Wi-Fi Gas Heater Pool Spa Hot tub programmable Thermostat/Timer Remote/Receiver & Control Temperature

Great little Heater Remote. I had to add a wifi extender to get it to pick up the wifi by my pool. Works great to heat the pool.I wonder if I could get a second one that can control my hot tub separately.

Very simple to install. Works great. The app is a little more complicated than it needs to be but it works great.

This thermostat controls my millvolt gas powered spa heater almost perfectly. It replaces several thermostats, a wifi switch and multiple Google home assistant timer routines. It turns on each day about the same time as my spa pump, and is set to maintain the temperature between 99.5 and 100°. And yes it is actually that accurate.Very easy to set and set up, BUT, the "lan control" setting was on, and that caused me nearly a week of almost sending the thing back. Once I turned that off everything worked perfectly. My equipment is covered so I just threaded the sensor into the pump's drain hole. The switched leads just provide a path across the firemen's switch.I recommend it highly. I just hope that it lasts a long time.

This is a very slick little unit and I was impressed with how easy it was to install and get working. However, after just two weeks of use, the remote stopped working. It is connected to wifi, shows up in the app, "clicks" and led indicator turns on when I switch it on/off via the app or the manual button, but it does not actually close the circuit to switch the heater on. Heater switches on and off just fine when I short/unshort the lead wires from the heater PCB. The remote simply isn't working.Support has been slow but thorough, they had me check everything step-by-step. Now they have me mailing the unit to them in Canada for them to diagnose the issue. They will not send me another unit until they determine what is wrong with the first one. This has been a two-week process since the remote stopped properly and I'm not expecting a quick turnaround time. I'm past the Amazon return date so I can't just return it and buy another through the Amazon process. I hope the issue is resolved or I'm sent a new unit but I'm not overly optimistic for a quick turnaround at this point. Will update my review if/when the issue is resolved. Very frustrating because it seemed like it suited my needs perfectly, until it broke!

When I got it and set it up it was working great! The app is not very intuitive but you get used to it pretty quickly. After 2 weeks my unit started flashing high limit errors. Thought my switch’s were bad and changed them out to new. Fired it up and still had the same issue. Once I took the remote out everything worked as normal. Granted I was out all the money for the switch’s :/

Bought this product to remotely control my pool heater. The electrician tried to install it but was having difficulty figuring out where to connect the leads. The customer service rep from Thermomart went through the trouble of reading the pool heater manual for my heater and figured out where to make the connection and sent me a you tube video to help. Everything worked juts as promised and I couldn’t be happier. Other similar products cost 5 to 10 times as much. Thanks for a great product and service.

I've had this installed since April 2021 when my Pentair Ultratemp ETI hybrid heater was installed. This was a fraction of the cost of a full-blown automation solution. The tech didn't know much about it other than it connected to the standard wires for control. I hooked it up to wifi and fired up the app. Everything went smoothly.The software gives you actual temp and you can automate like turn on at a certain temp and turn off at a certain temp, times and days.There is a bug in the app where setting an upper/lower temp range doesn't stop although it's been deleted.I would highly recommend the orbit grey housing sold separately.

I followed to a T the writeup by D. Joesph's review on this. I ran into a hiccup with the remote settings being enabled on my heater which caused some consternation and the extension cable for the device should really really be included with it not extra because it is way way too short for anyone to use realistically (so for that will deduct a star). I would urge seller to include it. Speaker wire worked for other connection but nothing else worked for the temperature reader. For $580 (with electrician's help adding line and installing timer) i added smart capability to the pool at a fraction of the cost what pool companies estimated to do so.
