This!
So much fun and great quality all the way around. I would definitely buy this again and again for my daughter, and the couple other Boon bath toys we have - they are made from quality. I even bought this for my best friends son. I recommend this to anyone with kids. He just so cute and changes color when in water. We've had it for almost four years and not a single problem! The batteries take forever to die sand no mold or rust. We take all of her toy out of the bath at the end and put them in the boon frog hanging toy bin to dry and that's it! As long as they aren't being left in some kind of water they should be fine.

We love you Scuba Louie!
So much fun!!! The colors are beautiful. The scuba helmet is so tight that I feel confident water won't be able to get into the battery compartment. Some of these 1-star reviews people said their scuba dude didn't work at all, and honestly, I suspect they didn't realize they needed to take the head off and shove batteries into him.I didn't pay much mind to the toy after it was opened but when my 4 year old came to me from the bathroom and told me it didn't work, the first thing I figured was "oh, it mustn't have come with any batteries in it." But you know, this is the World Wide Web and I've seen the people that live here, so it's completely possible that batteries was just something some of these people didn't even consider. Like, maybe the toy just runs on the joy and excitement that seeps from the pores of small children?Idk, but the toy it really straightforward, and once you've put some batteries into it, it's easy to use. All three of my kids are obsessed with it (8,4,11mo)

Batteries NOT included
We got it and.... it didn't work. Ordered a replacement. It didn't work. Even though this thing has some weight to it... batteries are NOT included. Unscrew the screw in the back, twist off the head and insert 3 AA batteries you hopefully have on hand. Complete the circuit and watch a soft glow radiate from his face and change colors. My 16 month old LOVES it. Looked at the minimalist packaging and finally noticed the battery blurb on the lower right side. Down side to having instructions in 3 languages.... but overall a great bath toy.

Waste of Money
This is a poor quality toy. It was rated as a great bath toy for little ones, so I purchased it for my grandson. First issue is it’s too heavy. I didn’t even give it to him for a while because I was afraid he’d hurt himself or his sister with it. Then when he finally got to use it, it malfunctioned after 2 baths. The lights will not turn off when removed from the water. His dad cleaned the sensors, but the lights still won’t turn off. So this was a waste of money. And it’s a pricey piece of junk.

Cute product, hard to squeeze
My kids love these bath toys. I love how you can fill/drain them by removing the bottoms. This feature really helps to prevent mold development. I love the colors and simplicity of the design. The only downside of this product is my children have a little trouble squeezing the water out. The material is a little tough and does not give very easily when squeezing! Watch out, they may get away from ya when squeezing, the kids get a kick out of this though!

Easy to clean and avoid mold; hard to hold and squirt
When my 1.5 yo's rubber duckies starting spitting black mold, it broke her little heart to see them thrown away. :( So I rushed to amazon to find something fun she could play with and squirt that would be easier to clean and retain less moisture, so as to stay mold-free. These Boon Squirties did not disappoint! They unscrew in the middle so that you can easily remove all the moisture, and there's not a lot of odd surfaces or small crevices in which moisture could hide and get moldy. Hooray!However... They're pretty hard to squirt, even for my adult hands! They're about the size of a standard large egg in the palm of your hand, and the best way to get a grip on them is to palm it and push the squishy end with your thumb. But this makes it a little hard to aim and even then it often slips. I wish there were some sort of texture to the surface to make it less slippery in the soapy water. (Notice the picture of the lady squeezing it between her thumb and bent forefinger is holding a completely dry toy. If I did that in the bath, it'd fire out of my hand like a projectile instead of squirting my kid.)It's also fairly small, so it doesn't hold a whole lot of water to squirt anyway. And they're cute, but they're not "rubber ducky" cute. Le sigh... Thankfully I got them for a lower price on Prime day, because I would have regretted paying full price for these. Hopefully my toddler will still like them when she's coordinated and strong enough to squeeze them with her own hands.

2 years later still a hit
It's not a one and done bath toy, purchased for my then 1 year old and 5 year old its their must have toy during bath time then and now (almost 3 years later.) Battery life is great- keep in mind if its submerged in any water even a small amount the light will stay on while rotating colors. This being said it has happened a few times over night etc/next day and the battery still was going strong. The toy in itself I like as a Mom, its easy to clean, no mildew to worry about, supports teaching colors, relaxing- kids love it when I dim the lights. Provides simple fun without the anticipated water spill of some sort to worry about with the vast majority of 'bath toys' that are on the market. Makes for an easy gift, costs a bit more, my personal opinion its completely worth it :)

Great alternative to glow sticks
We bought this for our son's second birthday. He had played with glow sticks in the tub, so this was a more reasonable option. While he doesn't always stay super-engaged with it, he does like it. It lights up fairly bright and cycles through the various colors. It's heavy, so it does sink a bit, but not too much that it goes to the bottom...it's perfectly balanced to bob at the surface. The first one we got actually leaked and got water inside. We sent it back to the manufacturer and they happily replaced it with a new one that does not leak.

Impossible for toddlers to squeeze
Seeing as the main purpose is for these to be squeezed by toddlers, you’d expect them to be squeezable but they are not.The rubber squeezable part is so firm that it’s difficult for adult hands to grasp in the right position to squeeze. It is impossible for a 2 year old to, even with two hands. It’s otherwise a really cute and cleverly designed bath toy, and ticks the boxes of being washable and appealing. The design fails to consider the users and the strength.I am really disappointed. I will look into returning them but they came in some industrial strength plastic that had to be cut open so the original packaging had to be destroyed.
