Well worth it to be seen on the road
I bought this in tandem with this front Xtreme Bright LED Bike Light - FREE TAILLIGHT - No Tools Needed Attaches in Seconds - Great For Street, Mountain, and Children's Bicycles - LIFETIME WARRANTY before I noticed that that front light came with a free tail light these days. I figured well, having a backup tail light wouldn't be a bad thing, so I didn't cancel the order.I received the front light and free tail light first. The tail light isn't bad, pretty standard, tiny light that has the flashing or solid modes. I was happy with it and it allowed me to go on some night rides. Then this puppy came. WOW this thing is bright. It first turned it on my apartment at night, and it acted like a FLASHLIGHT of red light across the room. The free one was purely just a light you would notice, but I feel COMPLETELY comfortable riding with this one. I honestly don't know how you could miss someone with this thing on the back.Naturally it comes with the standard flashing or solid modes, but I still can't get over how powerful it is. It's amazing.

Rugged, simple, one flaw
One flaw in otherwise desirable light: it pops out of the rubber holder quite often, especially if you pull the rubber tight. It hasn't happened while was riding so far.Simple rugged design. I especially like that the thick rubber band is attached to the light, do you cant lose it - which is what happened to me with a light costing four times as much. One problem is that when you are carrying it in your pocket, it is easy to accidentally turn it on without noticing. So, be careful!I also like that batteries can be replaced without needing a special tool, a coin, or breaking a fingernail: you just unscrew it!Fwiw I prefer batteries to rechargeables, because if the batteries die on me, I don't have to wait an hour to recharge. The replacement batteries for this one are also cheap and very very small, like two quarters: easy to keep spares around.

Not a bad little light but....
First let me say that I may use this light a little different than others...I attach it to the back of my helmet. I use this when I'm racing in long mountain bike races where I'm carrying a seat pack so there is not place for a light...hence, the back of my helmet. What I like about this is that it is really light, it carries two batteries in it's compartment, it's relatively bright for it's size, you can angle it somewhat and the rubber mounting flexibility. I'm also rough on equipment and so far it has held up well. However, there is one major flaw. As you stretch the rubber mounting, the light easily falls out of the socket where it's attached. Now note, I am probably pulling it further than you would if it was attached to your seat post so I'm sure you'd be fine but if you plan on attaching it to something like a helmet which stretches the rubber, beware. To fix this I put a few drops of crazy glue between the light and the rubber mounting piece and now it holds nicely. So really, if you're looking for a seat light, for the price, this is a nice little light.

This is a nice little LED light that has three modes
This is a nice little LED light that has three modes: Constant, fast flashing, and slow flashing. The slow flashing is about twice as fast as a car turn signal light. It attaches to your bike by means of a stretchy rubber strap that has holes in it for a clip to fit into - so that it can fit around various sized tubes. The rubber strap holds the light at an angle, so the light will be horizontal when the strap is around a (angled) seat post. The light is run off of two disk style watch batteries, which can be accessed by unscrewing the seemingly aluminum case in the same way a tac flashlight can be unscrewed. The case seems to be quite sturdy. The first failure point IMO would be the stretchy rubber strap. In the dark it can be seen quite easily, so I leave it on constant. During the day I put it on fast flash to make myself more noticeable.I mounted mine on my luggage rack and so I am not using the rubber strap at all. I ordered a second one so to have failure redundancy. These are cheap and lightweight. I cannot comment at this time about battery life.

Simple, Bright & Effective
This is an inexpensive, simple and effective light. It has 3 settings - steady on, slow pulse, fast pulse - each activated by simply pushing the lens. The light's small size and simplicity of use and fastening means it can be easily placed and moved. The light is bright, but not blinding. I am a gadget guy and usually go for things that have a lot of bells and whistles. But, I love this light for its simplicity and stress-free use. I actually got this as a supplemental rear light because the "main" rear light on my bike, which has remote control, turn signals, laser lane guides and about 6 different settings, also has a light sensor which prevents the light from working at all when it is not dark. Even when it is light, I like to have a light pulsing to attract attention to my presence. This light is bright enough to be seen during the day. And small enough to fit between my "main" light and the bike wheel.

Great LED rear bike light !
Simple small size bike light does its job of providing added safety by allowing you to be seen at night. There are no buttons or switches - to turn on, just push in the light. First push turns on light to solid red, 2nd push turns on light to fast flashing red, and 3rd push turns on light to a slow flashing red.The light unit is very lightweight, the light itself is an LED type bulb and is quite bright, and it's very easy to mount anywhere on a bike - has a stretchable rubber with different spaced holes on it and a hook - you don't need any tools to mount this light - just stretch the rubber strap over any part of the bike (seat post, rear frame, etc.) and hook in place. Runs on 2 CR2032 batteries and is waterproof. Highly recommended.
