DOT 4 Brake Fluid/12x1/12 Ounce

Work like it is supposed to.

Brake fluid either works, or it doesn't. I can't say that there's anything special about this stuff, but I've purchased other Lucas Oil products and been very satisfied. This brake fluid is DOT4 so it's compatible with the DOT3 I already had in my system. I had to do a master cylinder swap on my old Pontiac and this 12oz bottle was pretty much just enough to bench bleed the master cylinder and purge the rest of the system. I didn't do a complete fluid replacement. I had about an ounce left. The car still stops so it must be working. ;-)

So this is my own fault! However the product is a great product but as i needed dot 3 and a forum had said i could use dot 4 then to find out i cant use it. So my own doing not against them at all. Still a great product, all of our car needs we get LUCAS its who we go to for anything . Now that i cant use the rest itll be used as a weed killer. Only little issue is the bottles were half way leaked out wasnt a big deal but depending on how long its in the package for it could leak more.

Works just like DOT4 brake fluid should. I’d certainly buy it again.

DOT 4 is the way to go. I saw a few YouTube videos about it and it was all true. I replaced the old DOT3 on my Honda Odyssey for this DOT4. I can feel a quicker stoppage and less spongier brake pedal. Also, they say it works better in heat. I don’t know about that, but all I can attest is that I feel a better performance.

The more I use Lucas brand products on my motorcycle the more convinced I am of the brand's quality. I chose this brake fluid because of this trust in Lucas' name, and I am very pleased with it. I won't make any wild claims about it, because that would be silly, but this brake fluid does work well and I like the consistency of keeping all of the fluids in my motorcycle from the same company.
